I have worked with Alan Horticulture at a large Warrenville property and the work they do is fabulous. I am happy to know that I will be working with them this spring at another property in North Aurora. My Account rep for both properties is Anna Smailus. Anna’s communication skills and overseeing her crews is A+ and I would recommend them at any time.

They are contracted to remove snow, subcontracted to another party. They hit my car and didnt bother to own up… then they make me chase their carrier after the owner fessed up upon seeing the video. Very sorry when he called, then they block me from contacting them… hours of work for their negligence. I actually called the claim in first, and I submitted the claim to the sub carrier … when the sub carrier called I asked if they had reported it and the answer was “No” I shouldnt have to do the leg work on this… a company owner should be following up to right the wrong…. I have the emails from his carriers when I reported it, and there would be recordings and claim files to verify that they advised me I was the first to report the loss…. Notice the response isnt ill make sure its taken care of, its you’re a burden and its not my problem….

If you are looking for a landscape company that truly cares, look no further. Jeff Randall, Rick, Lazaro & Manny are amazing. I have been a client for about four years and these guys have never ceased to amaze me! Jeff, my account manager is on top of everything and keeps me in the loop. He gives me guidance on weather situations and helps me make decisions that are both the best for my community and budget! Rick is our area manager and has a great relationship with both Jeff and the crew that services our community. As far as the crew… I cant say enough… these guys are the boots on the ground and truly care about the work that they put out. They have gone above and beyond on so many occasions. Lazaro and Manny lead by example. They are out there working as hard as the guys and are not afraid to roll up their sleeves. The communication is amazing, and the work is stellar! My community is appealing and exceptionally maintained. Alan Horticulture IS the best choice. Keep up the great work guys!

We called Alan Horticulture to remove a large tree which was growing all around some live electrical wires. They were timely and professional and we are very happy with the results. Great rates too!

2/17/22 Do the additional photos taken last night 2/17/23 look like salt scald to you? This is not salt scald. This is due to your enempt response to snow removal that has been caught on camera. Fix the damage that you have caused throughout the Lakewood Condos Community. While I appreciate your response, I digress on the cause of damage. This is not salt scald. A simple google of salt scald proved this wrong. This appears throughout our community. And I am confused as to your response now when you advised our property manager that it would cost our Association 25K to repair the entire property that has this damage. Lakewood Condominiums in Schaumburg contracted this company for snow removal and landscaping. You can clearly see that they removed more than just snow. Installing shovels on the ends of lawnmowers does not clear snow. Non sufficient equipment and poorly trained employees caused sever damage throughout our community. An email was sent to our property manager. Alan deemed the damage as salt damage. Hmmmmmm no. This was clearly damage caused by their negligence. They quoted her $25K to repair their own damage(this is in an email she provided). How about you pony up for your negligence. And let’s talk about the trimming of bushes. These guys HACKED the bushes throughout the community last spring/summer. Completely uneven and left all looking dwindling. One patio will have one height while the next has a different height. Our property looks so disheveled now.

This company has left their equipment on our property for more than 30days now with no plans to move it, using homeowners parking spots as storage for their vehicles. extremely inconsiderate and unprofessional, I have reached out to the association also. so they can press Alan to stop using our property as their personal free storage. Photo attached shows them blocking and using all 5 spots.
