No response for tree removal. Called multiple times.

I’ve hired Jeremy once in the fall of ’21. 7 large trees. No clean-up. We did that ourselves. I was alone for most of the work as my husband was away for work. It took over a week past the deadline he said he we would do it. I don’t recall how much longer than a week he was past the deadline to start. I got a lot of runaround excuses to get the job started. When his crew finally started, they knocked them out in one day. (Only reason why I gave two stars and not one) There was a very large stump we wanted to leave intact to make a table out of, and he or a crew member cut it to the ground, making it useless. When I brought this to his attention, he got very defensive, posturing, and tone of voice. He actually made me feel very uncomfortable. Here we are to the present. We needed more trees down at a new location. I wasn’t going to be alone, so my husband went ahead and called him to get a quote and schedule what we needed done. Jeremy came out. We agreed on a price and time. We made it clear that we needed them out immediately with other projects lined up. He told us he would have them done and cleaned up by the end of the following week. Wednesday of the week he was supposed to have it done by, he messaged me with no real reason for his delay. That he would have it done Monday or Tuesday the following week. Monday no call, no show, nothing. Evening rolls around, and he finally messages me. He says he will do the job on Tuesday. At this point, he has already put us behind schedule of our other projects. I have lost total faith that he would actually come out. We decided to contact another company that came out immediately after they finished their current job for the day. And will be out tomorrow. My husband politely thanked Jeremy for his time and let him know we were going with another company. Jeremy’s nasty respons, “Thanks for wasting my time.” I think what Jeremy failed to realize is that time is money. He has, in facted wasted our time. Not the other way around. I let the issue slide the first time around. But how he snapped in a text message at my husband makes me feel I should warn others. I would not recommend him. BTW the other company matched Jeremy’s quote without us even telling him about the situation.

Nothing but good things to say about Jeremy and his company. We needed a few trees looked at to determine the health of them all. Mr. McCarter was out within a day or so and was able to determine that two of our trees were pretty much dead and a third was essentially dying as it had portions that were rotting off in select areas. We hired him to remove those three trees and he quoted an affordable and more than fair price to do the job that included stump removal. He an his crew were out in the next week and made quick work of the trees within a few hours. They came back in the next few days and removed the stumps. If you are a supporter of small businesses, especially ones that provide quality work without trying to take advantage and overcharge homeowners, then these are your guys. We will be using his services for any other arborist needs that we ever need and will be referring others that we know to him.

I have had very large trees cutdown. They do a great job. Reasonable prices. Most impressive on cleanup afterwards. Highly recommend.
