Our backyard used to be beautiful, but over time, issues like tree roots, aging, and general wear and tear began to show. After attending the AZ home show in Scottsdale for ideas on replacing our failing turf, we were fortunate to meet Clayton Rivard. Despite receiving several quotes after the show, we had a strong inclination towards Clayton right from the start. After careful consideration, he stood out among the rest. While others proposed different approaches to our challenges, Clayton confidently assured us that he could handle everything—and indeed, he did. We contracted him for a comprehensive overhaul: pool deck, new travertine, lighting, new irrigation, plants, and the turf itself. Such projects are notoriously complex, but what impressed us most was Clayton’s communication. He set clear expectations and timelines from the outset. Everything arrived on schedule, materials were ordered efficiently, and the work progressed seamlessly. His team, led by supervisor Chris, was exceptional—especially considering the scorching Arizona heat. They were punctual, friendly, and incredibly hardworking. It’s rare to find a project that doesn’t require constant oversight, but Clayton managed everything. Beyond his professional approach, Clayton’s personal integrity shines through. He’s genuinely one of the nicest individuals we’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. In particular, when my husband was called away on an emergency, Clayton even offered assistance with tasks outside the project scope, simply to lend a hand. Clayton and his team installed turf and pavers in my backyard in two days. Quality work, they handled ordering all the materials, reasonably priced. I knew I needed professionals to do this job and it turned out excellent! Would highly recommend!

2023 Our yard turned out beautiful; front and back. Artificial turf, putting green, travertine pool deck, and landscape lights make our yard a desert oasis. It was a big job and we were very particular about everything. In the end Clayton and his crew went the extra mile to make sure that we are 100% satisfied! Thank you for your hard work guys.

Wow! What an amazing job Desert escape Landscaping did in our backyard. From installing irrigation, artificial turf, Lighting, planter walls, and all of our trees I could not be happier. We are very pleased with Desert Escapes Landscaping, LLC. We have a large yard with a ton of pavers and they look absolutely amazing. Clayton was very flexible and patient when we changed our mind or if a product was hard to find due to Covid. He always checked in with us to see if we were happy with the progress and yard and even threw in a few great ideas that we would have never thought of ourselves. We had a waterfall put in and it collapsed letting the water run backwards. The stones on our pony wall, some have fallen off. The underground irrigation pipes leak. The paving stones were layer to were it form a pond of water when it rains.

We recently had Desert Escapes Landscaping install turf in our back yard and highly recommend! Clayton provide several turf options for us to choose from and didn’t try to push the high price point options. When he came out to quote the job he was professional and polite. He and his crew were courteous and hard-working and completed the project quickly.
