We built a new custom home in 2012 on a corner lot. Because it was a custom, we wanted a special landscaping design. Tripp came through with flying colors from the sod, to the bushes, the flowers and the trees. Their design really enhanced the look of our home. Over the years we have purchased more trees, flowers and bushes from them. They are a first class operation!

We have been using Tripp Landscaping for about 5 years or more. With our ideas, Jacob Tripp always does fantastic with suggestions and design. If something doesn’t appear correct, they’ll come out and review it, fix it, and sometimes will not charge any more. Installers are great, also.

We have used Tripp Landscaping over the past few years both in the front and back yards plus digging a French drain in our back yard to assist in a yearly problem of standing water. Their landscaping suggestions are responsive to our wishes, even replacing plantings that didn’t survive the first year. We are on their list of customers who get a call each spring about the need for mulching. We are very pleased with their service and product offerings and do not hesitate recommending them to others.

Mark Tripp came to my house in March of 2020 to talk about a large project. Planting beds, mulch, shrub removal, replacement, etc. Said we would have a bid in a couple of weeks. I called to follow up 3 weeks later. No response. No bid, no call, no nothing. This is not the first time… they behaved similarly several years ago, but finally did the work, which was good. I was hoping for a better experience this time, but instead of being better, they were worse.I ended up doing most of the work myself.

Since buying our home a few years ago we have dealt with several businesses in the Springfield area. I can’t say enough about Tripp Landscaping. They are by far the nicest business we’ve had work done from. As far as landscaping they do a great job of designing and select plants that work. The key with them is they try to use local plants or at least ones that do well in the area so you know the plant you get from them will flourish and survive. Jake has done several plans for us and he has a great eye for design. Barb is always great to talk to and get me the information I need. I highly recommend them.
