When the last storm hit, a neighbors tree fell across our driveway and we were blocked in. I randomly found McCarthy Tree online and made an early Monday morning call. Well, Mark and his team were here very quickly and cleared the driveway and moved the tree. They cleared the debris and left the yard spotless.

Mark and his crew were fantastic! I was impressed by their attention to detail and how they expertly dropped a large maple away from power lines and our residence. Mark did all of the cutting himself and went the extra mile to make sure I had easy access to my driveway.

Mark is the best! Second time for us with him. Each time he has gone above and beyond the actual work order and does so safely. He is an experienced, licensed arborist who does the work himself with his crew; he does not send new hires out to do his work. He is also very nice as is his wife who handles the email and billing.

Mark removed a tree for us that came down during the Christmas storm of 2022. He was prompt and reasonable. We then hired him to removed a huge Christmas tree on our front yard that was overgrown, along with many tree that could potentially come down on our house. I would recommend his service to anyone needing tree work in Maine.

Mark, I have worked with Mark McCarthy tree service for years. Mark is a hands on owner and does an impeccable job. When he leaves our property, It looks like he was never here. Mark gets the job done. Mark is so trustworthy. Thank you Billy and Sara

If you’re thinking about tree removal/trimming – you MUST give this awesome team a chance. Ultimately, I didn’t go with McCarthy Tree Service BUT the quoting experience was great which is what compelled to at least leave a good review. They were very responsive, courteous and well-priced. The only reason I went with someone else is that they were the first to come out and I had no other way to break the tie.

Mark and his crew were amazing. They cut down 3 huge trees and removed other dead branches. Everything was completely controlled, no damage to anything including a fence directly next to two trees, branches chipped, trunks cut to specified lengths and piled where requested. Everyone was polite, professional and clearly skilled. Couldn’t recommend them more highly.

Mark and crew removed two tall pines, one in a snug, difficult to reach corner. We are very happy with their work (neighbors were impressed as well) – professional, hard working, and got it done right. Recommended.

This is by far the best Arborist in the area! Amazing to watch these guys work and fun to talk with after the job. Mark and Jesse are a stellar team whom we have used multiple times with great outcomes! I recommend them!
