Had an appointment. I called the office 5 minutes before the appointment to ensure that person I was meeting with would be on time or if they would be delayed. I was then told that he should be there soon and they would call him so he could call me directly. Appointment time came and went. I waited 30 minutes in my car and no one showed up. No one ever called me back. Next morning I called the same office to get an explanation. Perhaps they came later? Maybe they did the survey without me and had a quote? Nope. I was put on hold for several minutes and I just gave up. Granted I only talked to the person that answers phones and not the workers in the field. So I don’t know internally what is/was the issue. I know I didn’t feel valued as a potential customer and I gave them or her, the office worker, a chance to get it together. I’m a project manager that deals with vendors all the time. This interaction was disappointing. Hopefully management sees this and at least apologizes.

No regard for people at all. They saw the other end of the road was blocked by aqua doing work and proceeded to set up a crane blocking in 20 plus houses without even a knock or heads up aqua had been there for almost a month working so they had to know about it. Zero common courtesy. They were also recklessly dropping branches right by neighbors cars still again without going around trying to ask people to move them

I had the wonderful experience of using McFarland-Shechtman Tree Service on June 18, 2024. Mr. Casey came to my home with the two worker’s and introduced them to me so I would be aware of the person’s working in my yard. I had a 25-30 foot tree to be trimmed. The workers were extremely careful not to damage any of their surroundings on my property. The tree was trimmed so perfectly that it appeared to be a beautiful magazine display. They cleaned my property as if it was a personal assignment. They spoke respectful/friendly/knowledgeable. This company is definitely a 5 star when it comes to picture perfect work and affordable pricing. I would recommend them to the White House in Washington. If you want to go far with your tree service please use McFarland for all of your landscaping services

McFarland Tree Service did some major tree work for us a few years back. We chose them after getting a few quotes and consulting with other companies b/c Peter McFarland was very knowledgeable and interested in preserving the character of our beautiful trees just like we were. He continues to be a great source of support when in comes to hardscaping and landscaping. They were competitive on price, respectful, courteous and on time. I continue to recommend them to others.

My neighbor was having her tree trimmed by McFarland last week. I stepped outside my house to ask one of the workers for advice on how I should go about removing a very large dead branch from one of my own trees. The worker showed me where I’d need to make the cut. I thanked him for the advice and went back inside my house. An hour later I opened my front door to discover that McFarland had removed and taken away the branch for me. They didn’t even bother to tell me or stick around for a thank you or a tip–they just did it because they were decent human beings. If I ever need a tree trimmer, I know who I’ll be calling. Thank you, McFarland!

Keith Budd and crew did landscaping maintenance for my front lawn and the backyard. Keith was on time, had a smile on his face, listened to what I needed and did his upmost to do an excellent job. See my before and after pictures. I can’t thank Keith enough for all he did. I am so happy that McFarland picked up when I called. I am very pleased and very satisfied with the work that I had done.
