They do a really good job at cleaning up and making sure you are happy with the service. When you request a quote do give them time to respond. They will. I also like the invoice system too.

We have been hiring landscaping companies for a long time. Typically, when we find an honest, professional, and thorough company, we stick with them. After decades of homeownership and moving, this is the first time that we’re breaking up with a company. Not that we didn’t see this coming; instead, several indications were pointing in that direction! From breaking our garden lights, damaging the cable wires, doing the absolute minimum, and overcharging with services such as the spring and fall cleaning, mulch prices, trimming, and keep ups, it was probably a wrong decision to hire them in the first place. We had several warnings and contested the issues above, but that didn’t help, and we didn’t want to escalate, another wrong decision. Although we informed them of the damages that they have inflicted, which they acknowledged and promised to deduct a certain amount from the weekly fees, their promises didn’t come through, and we moved on! They kept raising the price every year in small incriminates, but of course, it adds up! They also stopped doing what was agreed upon, including trimming the bushes and keeping the lawn and around the house tidy. They did a reasonable job in mowing the grass but always kept the cut grass behind while blowing it away from the driveway, which is fine. But, they started offering the absolute minimum as a strategy, which I believe, given how much we pay them, wasn’t the right approach, which also meant that the services they provided weren’t good value. With all this, we kept going. This week, they were supposed to mow the lawn while the leaves over it; in other words shredding the leaves over our property. They didn’t do a good job. They instead pushed the vast majority of the leaves on the larger side of our property near the street. I complained and told them that the amount we agreed upon for shredding the leaves with the lawnmower should have included the whole lawn. The owner said that the ‘ditch’ is not part of the property! I reiterated that the ‘ditch’ is indeed part of the grounds and has been mowed since we moved into this house four years ago and consistently. That part of the lawn is still our property. Like every time, he spoke incoherently and deceivingly about his reasoning. It was then when I realized that enough is enough and that it was apparent that such deceptive practices have been taking place for a long time and that it was time to let them go. What’s the takeaway? If you have a gut feeling about the level of honesty in a company, you’re probably right! When you feel that, based on various reviews and encounters that there is something a little odd about a company, take it seriously. My advice, stay away. You will have constant headaches, repeated dishonesty, and deception, traits that don’t go far in any business. The photos show that they shredded the leaves and dumped everything over the area near the street. They also show evidence of the leaf blower as the workers attempted to blow the leaves towards the ditch and basically filled it up.
