Lloyd and his team did our landscaping in our front yard as well as repaired and re-sealed our pavers in both the front and back of our house. Both projects were finished on time and looked amazing upon completion! Lloyd was very personable, professional, responsive and easy to get ahold of throughout both projects, and on top of that he was very patient in answering all of my questions -trust me, I had a lot of them!! I would highly recommend using Hilimire Pavers and Landscaping, and we plan to use them again in the future for any other projects that arise.

DO NOT USE THE LAWN CARE: There’s two parts to this business. The landscaping side, that Lloyd handles (he’s the owner and president) and the lawn care side that he contracts out. I had been using the lawn care side for approximately 18 months and their work was ‘meh’. The lawn was neatly trimmed and mowed but I regularly called Lloyd asking if he would have the boys sharpen the mower blades. My lawn always looked like it had gone through a shredder. At one point I even took blades of grass from other yards in the neighborhood and one from my yard to show him the comparison. Where the other yards grass blades were clean, razor cut, the one from my yard looked like a a cow had chewed on it for awhile. They regularly destroyed sprinkler heads, which I ended up replacing and they had a tendency to be careless w/ the weed killer. Two years ago I hired Lloyd to completely RIP out the majority of my landscaping, including 7 30 ft princess palms around my pool cage. Then Lloyd and I worked together to design a new plan for the yard. I gave him total creative control and when all was said I done I had $10,000 worth of beautiful landscaping. My yard and home was transformed. Then the mowers came back and bit by bit, they began methodically destroying the new foliage. They weed-wacked the new drip line around the pool cage THREE times which resulted in the death of several plants. Lloyd replaced them once but they weren’t the same full, lush quality initially planted. Around the front of the yard their dull mowers left a track of dead grass that is STILL recovering a year later. The last straw was when they killed over half of the new plants in the front yard with the weed killer and many others damaged or struggling to survive. After a year of this carelessness and neglect I finally called Lloyd and terminated his service. He apologized profusely, again, but in all honestly, it’s his reputation on the line. Even after he hired a new lawn care manager, nothing improved. Since then I have hired a smaller company to care for the lawn and it’s never looked better. We replaced the dead plants and my lawn is lush, green and no shredding. Additionally to this, we had to hire another company that specialized in irrigation to fix and rework much of the sprinkler system. The first thing they did was rip out all of the drip line Lloyd installed since it was put in, downslope from the plants and they were suffering with dehydration. The sprinkler guys didn’t understand why the drip line was put in because he was able to easily access the in-ground sprinkler line, run cross-T’s from it right to the center of the pool cage foliage and everything is getting plenty of water now. If you want ideas for landscaping, then consider Lloyd but do NOT hire Hilimire Landscaping to care for your yard.

Lloyd and his team did a great job with the landscaping, sod, and irrigation after we had our pool put in. He was very responsive, his prices were reasonable, and he did the work on time and on budget. He had some very creative ideas and everything turned out just great! Our friends and family love it as well….we could not have asked for more. I’ll be using him again in the spring when we redo some other landscaping. We highly recommend him and his team.
