I have a home in Carmel Woods and we used Tope’s services not once but twice in the last year. The first was on 3/11/23 and again today, 2/6/24. In both instances they had to extract 80′ + foot massive pine trees that fell on a structure or were damaged during the impactful windstorms. First off, Andrew is personable, reliable, reasonably priced and a good man. When other tree companies wouldn’t get back to me or quoted exhorbitant estimates, in each instance he came when he said he would and within 60 minutes provided a reasonable quote. His crews are exceptional, from the drivers, to the chainsaw experts, to the stagers, they are professional, courteous and skilled. I was impressed in each instance, with their speed and efficiency. They did not damage our landscaping during the tree removal process, took good care around our property, and the clean up was well done. Frankly I hope that I won’t need their services again for a fallen tree, but overall very satisfied with all facets, the follow up, pricing, professionalism and again Andrew. He performs.

Tope’s is the best in tree service. They tackled a big project, 90 ft tree that had to come down, and did the work professionally and efficiently. The cleanup was outstanding.

overall good work except one of their employees left 6 cigarette butts on the property. Really!! a tree company allowing their employees to smoke on the job site. I didn’t hire them, MONTEREY COUNTY did to remove a tree outside our fence.

I’ve called Topes in the past, many years ago on a huge pine tree in the backyard. Great job done! So I’ve got another tree needing to be trimmed. My wife called, scheduled an appointment for an estimate. Scheduled appointment day comes and we get a call from Topes, saying their guy was behind and could he drive by, do a visual inspection and call us back with an estimate. Sure thing we said. Would you believe we never got a call back? That’s exactly what happened. So if you’re looking for promises that don’t get fulfilled Topes is your choice.

Tope’s did an excellent job with the sad task of removing mature trees from our backyard. They had to take the trees out with a crane and bring in the stump grinder the same way and did everything without a hitch.
