I recently hired Silverbrook Nursery and Landscaping to cut down a tree, grind down the stump and lay down sod. After the work was done, I had noticed a “hill” where the sod was laid and thought once the dirt/sod settled, the area would level out. This was not the case and part of the sod was dying. I used an aerating tool to try to break up the ground in hopes of leveling it out but what happened was the dying sod just came up. There was a huge root under it and that was why the sod was dying and the ground was not level. I called Silverbrook Nursery and Landscaping and was told this was a “separate” issue and there would be an additional charge to remove it. I said I didn’t agree with that and it should have been removed with the stump instead of throwing dirt and sod on top of that root. It was at ground level, not a foot underground. I tried to dig it up myself with no luck so I called for other estimates from other companies and I was told this root should have been removed with the stump. I feel Silverbrook Nursery and Landscaping knew this and was trying to make additional money. I’m very disappointed in their service and will no longer use nor recommend them.

Silverbrook is a great Nursery right in our neighborhood of Pulte homes at Silverbrook Road in Lorton. For the last ten years we have consistently uniform service for landscaping work small and big. The employs are very productive, loyal and competitive. Honesty is their big element, particularly, Buzz, Tom, Cindy, Pat, Douglas and their employees are worthy of mention. This is my favorite nursery. They take care of their flowers and always have something unique. The staff are also super friendly and attentive. I’m always asked if I have questions and they’ll double check prices to make sure I am not missing out on any deals

10 out of 5 stars! We have used Silverbrook Nursery & Landscaping for quite a few projects and have always had a positive experience! We have been extremely satisfied with the quality of their work, value, responsiveness, timeliness and professionalism. Some of the work we had done includes: Installation of dry creek bed, Riverjack, flagstones, pavers around AC unit, plant bushes and plants, large quartz rock, mulch, and prune trees. Highly recommended!

This Spring we learned about Silverbrook and engaged them to design a plan for the front yard. They designed and executed a transformation which added elegance and beauty with hard scape and various plants and trees. The owners, designer and workers were experts and professionals.
