First, please note this company offers you a discount for leaving a positive review. Take that for what it’s worth. in 2023, I allowed them to service my lawn. Apparently they send emails INFORMING you that they will autorenew your service for the next year. They claim this is their right and it is industry standard. Considering this is bogus and illegal, I called them to inform them. They essentially said ” tough luck, we entered your enclosed backyard and did it anyway and now you will pay for it.” I most certainly will not, and now I have had to get a lawyer to prosecute them for high pressure sales, unsolicited charges and trespassing on my property. After reviewing the camera footage, I cannot believe the half effort job he did and he SPRAYED MY CHILDS TOYS!!!! Absolutely abhorrent job.

***Company never responded to my complaint with BBB. There are spots in my yard where the grass has burned and gone away completely. Use this company with caution…. **Update….they are still not taking accountability. I am cancelling my service and filing a complaint with the BBB **Sigh***….it saddens me to write this review as I had a good experience with them last season. However, they came out this past Monday to treat my lawn, second application of this season. Temperature was almost 90 degrees but they proceeded with the application. The next day when I came home, I was appalled at the appearance of my lawn. I wish I had take a before picture, but I had just been complimented on my lawn by my neighbor and was going to recommend their services. I contacted the company and got a follow up the next day but felt completely gaslight being told I need to “water it more”. Person who cut my lawn confirmed the application should not have been done in that kind of heat. Still waiting on someone from the company to come out and look at my lawn. I am withholding payment until this issue is resolved.

I have been using Independent Lawn for years. They do exactly what they tell you. I like that you are given a summary of what was done each time and any suggestions that can help keep your lawn at its best. My neighbor does not take care of her lawn which is all weeds. Fortunately Independent Lawn knows how to keep my lawn from any carry-over of her weeds.

Independent Lawn Service provides an outstanding service for lawn, tree, and shrub fertilization, ant control, mole/vole control, and pest control. I highly recommend them and the services they provide. Great service and friendly service techs and representatives.
