Brian and his wife Sara are wonderful people! They welcome questions and discussions so they can get the job done to your satisfaction. They are very accommodating and open to changes if something is not quite what you expected. When the backyard sod was laid down, but didn’t look quite the way we wanted, they ordered more. With the extra sod, the yard looked perfect! When we checked to make sure the sprinklers reached all of the new landscaping, we found some tree branches needed trimming and they disposed of those for us. We had extra sod from the front yard, that we gave to our neighbor. Brian helped them get it off the pallet and showed them how to patch it into their yard. (The thoughtful little extras…) My front and back yards took a few days to complete and they always made sure everything was cleaned up before they left. They gave us instructions on how to care for the landscaping to ensure everything takes and continues to look beautiful. We would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone needing landscapers. Update July 2,2024: They became unresponsive and we had difficulty getting them to come out to do some follow-up things they said they would take care of.

We have been asking for a refund since last August and sent several emails to Brian and Sarah with no response. They were given an initial deposit of $1400. in February. The deposit was for mulching our yard with a completion date around May. After multiple inquiries about the status of the project, we decided to ask for our money back. It is now January 2024 without receiving our deposit. We plan to take them to Small Claims court because they have decided to keep our money without services rendered. Please take a moment to see others who were not refunded their money. We wonder how their end of the year accounting books look from our initial down payment. Brian and Sarah are not honest and righteous individuals. It’s very confusing for us to see other “customers” can provide an excellent rating and be so deceitful with us and others?

They were reasonably priced and did great work. However, good luck getting in contact with them. I have tried calling them 4 times over the past 2 days to come back out for more work and they have not answered. They say “leave a message and we will get back to you as soon as possible.” That is quickly followed by “the mailbox is full and you are unable to leave a voicemail at this time, goodbye.”

This business has been the absolute worst landscaping business ever! We have communicated multiple times and were told our yard project is scheduled for the following week. This response has been going on for several months. We have requested a refund of our deposit of $1400 but to no avail. We plan to contact an attorney and take them to court. I highly discourage others NOT to use this company or anyone in the landscaping business whose names are Brian and Sarah and present themselves as a married couple. They are scam artists who take advantage of homeowners. They need to be prosecuted and charged with a felony due to the amount of money they owe us.

Stay away this company does not do what they say. Signed a contract in November to start in December, Then Jan,Feb,March, finally started April was a 2-to-3-week job took over 3 months to do. They would not show up for a week or more and no communication. When they did show up it would be between 11 Am and 3 Pm work 2 hours total and sit in the truck a total of 2 hours. Some days just drove up sat there for 30 minutes then left. Then just decided ond day the job was done and harrassed me about there bill. The best part is they did not perform the items they were doing in the contract but want me to pay for them. They will have excuse after excuse, but my yard and the land did not change from the quote they gave when they looked at it. I could go on all day about this company, but you get it my neighbor cancelled after they never kept him informed about when their project would start and after they saw what happened at my house, they got far far away though it did take a long time to get their money back again excuses. Then come to find out people on the street behind us used zimco and did not know we were using them as they were out of time for a long bit. When they saw their truck, they came over and talked to us telling there nightmare with them and would have let us know not to use them. In the end stay away unless you want to sit and wait and wonder if your job will be done. And it may not be what you want done but it will be what they want done for your yard. terrible terrible company and you will see a reply i am sure with excuse after excuse and it will be someone else fault stay away trust me.

AWFUL. They were great until we signed the contract and paid 1/2 up front $3500. Could not reach them after that. Would not respond to emails. Day came to start project and they didn’t show up. Had to contact credit card account to get $ back. Definitely would NOT RECOMMEND.

BEWARE…CON ARTIST AT THEIR BEST!!! They give you an estimate, ours was about $10,000. They want half up front even when they supposedly can’t get to you for over 3 months!! Didn’t like that idea, but put on credit card for safety! The day comes when it is “start date, and you hear nothing from them!! Your contract gives a start date, and also indicates that one month before service starts, they will be here to spray grass. So you realize it’s at least another month unless they just skip that part. If that’s the case…it should cost less! NO COMMUNICATION ON ZIMCO’s PART!!! We have contacted credit card and Zimco to return monies!!! Zimco will not communicate, except through e-mail, and, that’s if you’re lucky!!! BEWARE SCAMMERS!!!

In April 2022 I agreed for ZimCo to remove bermuda grass and sod with zoysia an area that was prone to low sunlight and a lot of water. After some delays the work was scheduled for August 2022. Several weeks prior ZimCo notified me that they could not secure the zoysia sod, and recommended overseeding the affected area with bermuda seed for the same price. ZimCo updated the agreement and I regretfully accepted. The seed did not take. The area was left worse than it was before the seeding. The compost they spread killed what little grass was already there. Weeds have spread throughout the area. I advised ZimCo and they sprinkled more seed in March 2023. Seed was tossed in sandy areas where no grass will grow and in standing water. ZimCo says the seed is warrantied but I don’t know how many attempts it will take before they realize the seeding was not a sound strategy. At this point I am left with an area of grass that is worse off than when they started and there are no signs of acknowledgement from ZimCo. I asked why they think this is a satisfactory result and course of action to which I received no response. ZimCo does not seem concerned with making the situation right. They took a shortcut for easy money last year when they knew bermuda would not thrive in this area per the original agreement. Buyer beware. ***Update*** in reply to the owner – nothing about my review is deceptive or factually wrong. I have access to the same texts. You are choosing to omit key information. For all who care – see attached photos for what a thousand dollars from ZimCo looks like. I don’t know how or why they stand behind these results. ***2nd update*** in response to the owner – poor sunlight and water conditions are documented in our text log as well as over phone calls. The affected area is a swale: it is going to see a lot of running water. If your landscaper did not recognize this perhaps they should not be in this business. The last 8 months are evidence that seed will not take to this area. No amount of warranty reseeds will change this. So what are you going to do besides repeating the same mistake? I would be happy to discuss this in person or over the phone but you seem content with text messages. Its funny how responsive you are to a negative review, but largely unresponsive to my concerns about poor results. I would also be happy to amend this review if you show some modicum of customer service in attempting to make this right. Currently I have paid for really bad results.

Did the work quickly and professionally. Cleaned up the yard after they were done. All services provided exactly as stated on quote.
