We hired Dustin at first just to mow our yard, and he did a good job. After that we agreed to a complete lawn care package including weed control, pest control, fertilization, aeration, overseeding etc. All we received for this significant cost increase was weed pulling. They never sprayed my yard, fertilized, aerated, or anything. When asked for a refund they claimed that we received what we paid for. This is the opposite of what they put in writing for us. We also had hired Dustin and Luck 7 to install landscaping in our back patio area. He was not the cheapest bid we received however we agreed to use him because he promised he would get us started quicker than anyone else. A short time after we agreed to the pricing and gave him a deposit he tried to increase our pricing for the irrigation conduit, claiming his costs had increased. Being in the construction industry I made a couple of phone calls and found out that wasn’t the case. I asked him to remove the irrigation conduit from our project and I would furnish it myself. After that he some how was able to reduce the pricing back to the agreed upon amount. He then proceeded to put us of claiming he had other projects in front of ours. Every time we talked he had some other reason why he couldn’t start our job. After being put off for 3 months we fired Dustin and asked for him to deliver the materials that we paid in advance for. Upon inspection of the materials we determined that the materials provided were not what was on our landscape design plan, and not worth near what we paid him for them. I ended up having to get an attorney involved and he promised to refund us additional money if we could give him some time. That time came and went and Dustin has yet to return my phone calls or emails. If you need someone to mow your lawn, Dustin is the guy. Do not pay him up front for anything because he will take your money and run like he did us.
