We scheduled a deep cleaning with DustBusters for the morning before we needed to vacate our apartment. After the arrival window came and went, I contacted the number provided in my confirmation email. The person I spoke with said that they would check in with the cleaners and get back to me. An hour passed, and I received no call. After that, all of my calls went straight to voicemail. Apart from the obvious inconvenience of needing to do the deep cleaning myself on short notice, I was particularly disappointed to have received such poor service from a business that came highly recommended by my realtor. Obviously things happen, but a no show and then ghosting isn’t okay in my book.

I was surprised at how easy it was to get a quote using Dustbusters automated online bid. I am a realtor here in Berkeley and often need a cleaning service in preparing my clients homes for sale and photos. I had a chance to speak with Roman, the owner and found out he is also a techie, he’s really managed to use his tech experience to streamline the process, giving a automated competitive bid and then allowing my clients to see the bid, and pay for it online very easily. The best surprise was how clean the homeless after the job was finished. I admit I was a little apprehensive using Dustbusters for the first time on the day of my listing photo shoot. My place was covered in dust and had never actually been deep cleaned before. Roman was very friendly and helpful and conducted an exceedingly detailed examination of each room, and his technician did a phenomenal job with the deep clean. I never actually realized how the state of my home was affecting my mental health and now feel much happier and less stressed out.
