Price was competitive but I would assume they were short staffed the day I went. I called 3 times before driving over there with no answer. Once I paid for the mulch, I had to wait around 20 mins for the guy to load me. There weren’t any other customers there so not sure why I had to wait so long.

Very friendly staff. Had mulch delivered and the driver went above and beyond to dump it exactly where I needed (it was in a hard spot). Good prices and fair delivery fees.

Best prices on all the stuff that no one else can get. Cane creek stone – when everyone was out they had tons of it, same with white rock. I’ve been back many times, great to deal with!

Ordered 3 loads topsoil. Only took 1 load after bad service. Ask for days notice and got no notice. No call backs after calling him. Paying by the full truck load. Tried to charge me $50 more per load than agreed. Biggest problem was the load was smaller than we agreed on. Will not do business here again!!

Great customer service! I had previously been to numerous other landscaping/hardware type businesses to look for rock and the dismissive attitude when I was asking questions was getting annoying. I wasn’t sure what I needed to help stop erosion with my sloping yard, and no one I had spoken to previously was willing to take a few minutes to give me some insight. There just isn’t any customer service anymore, sadly. The young lady who assisted me at Mountain View Mulch was pleasant, patient and helpful. Curtis, the gentleman who delivered the rock was also very helpful, and so nice. He took the time to give me suggestions, which I appreciate. A project I had been trying to complete since last summer is finally done. Thank you! 🙂

My Husband & I recently purchased an above ground swimming pool & wanted to find inexpensive / easiest ways to decorate around it, making it look, as nice as possible! So we called places located around our Hometown (Hickory, N.C.), trying to find the most REASONABLE, BEST price for our budget and this was one of them. They were the best priced, as far as PER SCOOP / LOAD, if you could pick it up Yourself!!! HOWEVER, if you have NO way to, & need it delivered ALL of the ones located around us, that, we called had a RIDICULOUSLY HIGH MINIMUM DELIVERY FEE set in stone! No wiggle room WHATSOEVER! That’s why we just got the green outdoor / indoor grass type rug roll and placed it all the way around it, bought 2 fake palm trees and 1 real one and it turned out, honestly, better than I thought it would 🥰
