They did our sprinklers and seem really great but reached out twice for additional projects and they simply don’t call back or respond. I think they are literally burdened by too much work – which is just normal for the trades now unfortunately. Update: I needed the sprinkler system repaired and serviced urgently so I figured I’d give them a call first, maybe they have sorted out their communication challenges since last time I tried them. Fortunately I connected with someone in their office who took my repair request and the next day was contacted and scheduled. They came out and did great work again but the tech just left without saying he was done or doing a final walk through or to give me an invoice or tell me what to expect from the office. For what it’s worth… It’s this last customer service piece that earns the 5th star… Taking the call – 1 star, showing up on time – 2 star, doing good work – 3 star, doing great work – 4 star, communicating and bookending the experience – 5 star.

April 2021 Update- We also engaged with Chenail to redo our entire landscape. They completed this work in early fall of 2020. The work was phenomenal. It is most evident this Spring as everything has come to life. They have such deep knowledge of what works in our Connecticut climate. We have had friends engage with them after seeing the work at our home. They delivered above and beyond for them as well. We recommend them highly. Just a great company to work with. Great work all around. We are very happy with them on all fronts. Fall 2020- I contracted with Chenail to install a new sprinkler system at my home. From quote to install they were very timely. Their pricing was very fair, and I feel like I got a lot of value. The installation was great. The team is very professional. I felt that they treated the install as if it were their own home. Things were done right. I’m very pleased with the end result and am very happy we chose Chenail over others.

My parents had Chenail do their house for an irrigation system. I’ve done construction my whole life and my parents asked me to look in on the quote and work with them while redesigning their yard with other contractors. They were a professional company fair price and what impressed me the most was their prep and clean up work. They made sure that when they were done that it looked like they were never there. Highly recommend

Chenail Lawn Care provided me with excellent service when I really needed it. I had a botched irrigation system installed at my home and I really needed it fixed because I had sod being installed that day. They came within a few hours after my call, Scott, the technician, did a awesome job trouble shooting my system and fixing everything. I will use Chenail for all my lawn and irrigation needs in the future. Thanks again!

I have been a customer of Chenail Lawn Care’s year-round lawn care service for the past 2 years and have seen significant improvement in my lawn; it looks healthier (thicker, greener and weed free). Someone from their office calls a day before they plan to come do each treatment. They offer a 10% pre-payment discount and take care of scheduling the applications from there based on the time of year. I will continue to use this company and I would highly recommend Chenail Lawn Care to anyone looking to work with a reputable lawn care company to improve their lawn.
