These guys were quick to respond, gave a reasonable estimate, communicated next steps and timeframes clearly, showed up exactly as scheduled, and completed the work with no damage to my home or fence.

Never have I ever been so taken advantage of. These guys will rip you off and sue you for the change they didn’t get. I tried to work with them representing a family member of mine, at their rates I could have started a company rented the team and done it myself, to bad they make you sign a contract and lie about what it means.

I have used Canary several times, and have been pleased with them, however, this last experience was not good. I had them remove a large tree as well as grind up the stump, which is an additional cost. At that time both me and my wife were having unimaginable health problems. If you can believe it, we were both giving cancer diagnosis at the same time. I only mentioned this because we were not able to go out and inspect the job that they had done. However, after both having surgery and have fully recovered, I am now getting back to the things that I had to put on pause a few years ago. I noticed that my stump was not grinded. Or at least, it was not graded well. Because the stump was still up above the grass line. It should have been below the grass line. As you can imagine, nothing can grow there until you get rid of the stump. I reached out to Canary to let them know, and I never heard anything back from them so today it was a month later and I called to see what the status was and they informed me that there’s nothing they can do for me, as they no longer have a stump grinder. I can appreciate that, only I paid to have my stump grinder and it was not. So, the communication was not good, and they did not give me what I paid for. I felt like they should have made sure that my stop was taken care of by paying to have someone else grind it. Seeing as I paid them already. I’m giving them a three star review because they did do a good job removing the other trees, but sadly I won’t be using them again after this experience. And I won’t be recommending them either. Unless they make it right, at which point I would make an amendment to this review.

If you’re another tree service do not do work for these guys you will not get paid .. they are scammers….!!!!!!!!

We had a bad storm hit my area June 13th 2022. i was approached by Garrison McKinney tree service to remove a tree that fell caused by storm. I was told I would have no out of pocket cost . I was told, by Canary tree service, my insurance company only pays $1000.00 for tree removal benefit. I explained i have over $1000.00 Deductible. The service did not include stump removal. The tree company explained they would bill insurance company enough to absorb the deductible. A neighbor had a larger tree, standing, not on ground, required lifts and skid steers and tree climbing, removed, along with stump removal for $2500.00. I than get a bill from Canary Tree service, (i had not agreed to do business with nor knew I was doing business with) and now has been turned over to debt collection company for $11,000.00 . this is price gouging at its best, I believe fraudulent misleading and out and out lies. Be careful how they approach you and who you are actually doing business with. They hide their identity because of all the complaints to Attorney Generals in many States.

RUN FAR AWAY!!!! Under investigation by the Michigan Attorney General for fraud. Charged friends $32,000 for trees they were quoted prior for $1700, or whatever the insurance paid for. Insurance declined and CTS balance billed and are threatening litigation despite stating “We will accept whatever insurance pays and NOT balance bill.” Look up the lawsuits against them if you don’t believe me. They’re cons are hopefully everyone involved with the fraud go to prison!

Had a tree fall on my house 5/13/22 as a result of a tornado. Called local tree services. The one I chose was Precision out of Live Oak Florida. They showed up about noon on 5/14/2022. Before they would preform the work Brazzi Smith of Precision had me sign numerous documents on his phone and did not furnish me with a hard copy. During this time Canary’s name was introduced into the situation, a sub contractor? My insurance company got the bill from them 5/16/2022 of 28,000. I had two other local firms give me estimates of 800 and 1600. My yard was left in a mess and I observed numerous safety issues while they were working on my property. BEWARE!!!!!
