We had a 60 foot maple tree that had to come down as it was threatening our and a neighbor’s house. Andy came and looked the job over and gave us a reasonable price. We were concerned that they had insurance and Andy provided us with an insurance certificate naming us as an additional insured. The crew arrived at 8:30 am and set to work. By 2 the tree was down. They then did an incredible job grinding the stump and sculpting the terrain to level so after the grass grew back in there would be no sign that a tree had been there. The crew worked efficiently and safely. All in all, a job well done, We would use them again. PS, Andy is a hoot!

They are so handy and professional. They work so hard! They really know what they are doing! They made a cement basement staircase for my house!

These guys did excellent work. Very meticulous…. Did what they said they would do and Left the place absolutely spotless!

The only thing positive i can write is that the delivery driver was great. After that it went down hill. The wood was a year out of being seasoned . I made several calls to let them know. I was told every time that someone would get back to me. Even that someone would come out to verify…no call backs or response at all. So now i have firewood for next year. I ordered another 2 cords from a local wood service that was perfect. I wouldn’t ever give my business to them ever again and i would warn people away. A simple apology would have called off the dogs

They came right away…Kevin have me a fair estimate for the tree Removal and clean up. They did a terrific job. Cleaned up the way I would do it. I am a Happy Camper. I would use them again for any tree work I might need.

I was very pleased with the work completed on my property. I had 5 very tall trees removed an about a dozen Olof overgrown shrubs. They went over and beyond what I expected. They left my place neat and clean. They did a phenomenal job! I highly recommend them.

I came here to write a review on the landscaping Mennella just finished at my house and saw the reviews about firewood. I have been using them for firewood for the last few years. Have not been disappointed yet. They always give MORE than a cord. I have had problems in the past with other companies shorting me on the amount of wood. I usually order in October and the wood has always been seasoned. In my experience, ordering wood later on in the winter from any company on LI its usually makes it harder to get seasoned wood. They just finished landscaping my house yesterday! I had a problem with water not draining and parts of my lawn always being soaking wet. They installed drainage to fix the issue before putting down my new sod lawn! I also had new beds made and they planted all new trees shrubs and flowers in the front of my house. They also added sprinklers to the flower beds so now I don’t have to manually water everything with the hose. The job came out great and the front of my house looks beautiful! I’m so happy with the way it came out. I’ve been wanting to get this done for years. I think they were reasonably price and would definitely recommend.

Purchased firewood from them, the man told me it was seasoned. It looks like it was split the day I received it. Do not get firewood from them.

We called and asked if they sold seasoned fire wood. They said they did, so we purchased a half cord that was delivered. It turned out their wood is not seasoned at all. I’ve confrmed with them the wood was only split over the last few months, but the logs we’re older. It’s heavy and filled with water. Do NOT purchase fire wood from Mennellas. Seasoned wood is split, stacked and sits for a full year or close to it. This is a company that’s been in business a long time and knows well what they are doing. They are selling unseasoned wood and calling it seasoned. It’s plain wrong. Furthermore I know 2 different people who experienced the same exact thing with this company within the last week. Find properly seasoned wood elsewhere.
