We had CT Roofcrafters replace our 35 year old roof in the summer of 2021. They also replaced our gutters. Michael was extremely easy to work with. He was responsive to texts and was often on site during the work to address any questions or issues that arose. We had a very particular roof tile in mind for our home and it was in extremely limited supply. Michael was the only roofer we talked with who got all the roof tile we needed quickly and without charging an exorbitant price. His crew came on time and worked efficiently to get our roof on in just a few days time. We felt their weatherproofing was well done. Some of the gutters had to be done a week or two later, but Michael was very communicative about timelines and always delivered on time. The only thing I would recommend is to make sure the company has a mobile restroom on site for the workers.

We had our roof redone for the first time and I’m very happy with the results. Michael was very professional and patient in helping me through the whole process and addressing problem areas of our particular roof. His crew was very friendly, clean (did a great job in cleaning up during and after the installation), and efficient in completing the project. We had a little hiccup in waiting for the second batch of shingles to arrive but everything was handled very well from A to Z. We love our new beautiful roof and I have full confidence in recommending Connecticut Roofcrafters!

We had our roof replaced in the winter/spring of 2021. Due to the weather, covid, and some other issues, the project got started later and took longer than expected, but Michael and his team did an excellent job. Our house presented some challenges and Michael quickly problem-solved when necessary. We now have a metal roof along with an area of EPDM on a flat part of our roof. Michael recommended the metal roof, which we had looked into and hoped for, but we’d had trouble finding a company who would be able to install metal on our low pitch roof, for a reasonable price. We are so happy with our roof! We also got new skylights which we love. The roof looks great, is extremely low maintenance, we don’t expect to have to replace it in our lifetime, and we’ve had no problems in the 14 months since it’s been installed. No more leaks, no more carpenter ants, happy homeowners!

A+ job by Michael and his entire team at Connecticut Roofcrafters. From the initial walk through and discussions on what to do with our roof to the actual roof work to the final cleanup and inspection, Michael and his team were great to work with. He took his time and listened to our concerns about our roof and put together a great plan to deliver us an amazing roof that protects our home, looks beautiful, will stand the test of time and our harsh New England weather. Michael was a pleasure to work with. He was very prompt and professional with his estimate. Once we signed the contract, he quickly started the work and it was completed in a timely way. The crew were very hard working and very nice. The roof – a cedar shake roof, looks fantastic. We got a great warranty and the quality is very high — much better than our previous roof. We are very pleased.

Michael and the whole team at CT Roofcrafters did a beautiful job on our roof replacement. We had one leak happen during a rainstorm in the middle of the replacement and Michael immediately managed the issue and repaired everything within days. The way he handled the situation is exactly how you would want issues to be dealt with. I would recommend them wholeheartedly.

Over the past 6 years, Connecticut Roofcrafters has done roofing on 4 buildings, siding on 2 properties, and windows on another I own. I cannot speak highly enough of Michael and his people. From the outset Michael was attentive, understanding, informative and reasonable. The projects ranged from a simple 3 bedroom cape roof to a complex antique homes siding, windows and roof. All were done on time, on budget and with remarkable care for the properties, tenants and landscaping.

CT roofcrafters did a repair that has been under “warranty” 3 years ago. Since that time, they have come out 4 times and it is STILL leaking. Our ceiling and rug has been ruined which OF COURSE is not covered by the warranty.
