Ed Cuervo from Midwest Cedar Roof came by and introduced himself last week. He is literally a neighbor on Brown Street and saw me pressure washing the front stains on our brick façade. While my hot water cleaning process was working well, it was also consuming considerable amounts of time. He offered to clean the front for me as he had an idle crew readily available. His crew did an outstanding job and in only a few hours! The building brick looks so much better and was completed in a fraction of time it would have taken me to do the same. What a great neighborhood!

Ed and his team do excellent work. They’re responsive, cost effective, efficient and trustworthy.They took a bunch of photos of a skylight that needed to be replaced during the initial estimate to show the issues and also took photos during the replacement to show proper installation and quality workmanship.

Called Midwest Cedar Roof Maintenance and set up an appointment for an estimate to treat and repair my Cedar roof. Quick response and appointment made. Day of estimate was shown pictures of areas that were in need of repairs and given a detailed explanation of the work that was needed. Very happy about that because it helped me understand the process of treating my roof. Estimate was a fair price compared to other Cedar treatment companies. Decided go with Midwest Cedar Roof because of how honest and informative they were. They even found a chimney stone that have fallen off. They offered to reinstall it free of charge. Day of treatment. They arrived early and explained the process. They covered our patio furniture and got to work. Replacing the damage Cedar shakes, fastening all the loose ones, treating and staining the whole roof. Even washed our windows during the process to avoid them getting stained. Once complete, they cleaned up well. No concern with nails all over the drive way or damaged plants. Over all we love the grey color on our roof and very satisfied with the work and price and costumer service that was provided. I ll definitely continue to use Midwest Cedar Roof Maintenance on any of our future treatments and repairs. I definitely recommend them.

After getting quotes from a few companies, I went with Midwest Cedar for roof preservation and repairs on my 10 year old cedar shake roof in Northbrook. I am happy with their work. They were careful during the process, communicated well, and it looks good. They were thorough and thoughtful during quote process, and delivered what was promised. I would recommend them.

We used Midwest Cedar Roof Maintenance for a preservation treatment of our cedar shake roof. Enrique was very attentive to our concerns, and his crew did a wonderful job performing some minor repairs and treating the roof. They also ensured that the house and windows were clean before they left. We would hire them again.

We bought a home with a cedar roof late last year with little understaning of the maintenance involved. When I contacted Ed for maintenance in the fall of last year, he was very responsive and explained things thoroughly. Earlier in 2023, we had some significant damage due to an ice storm. Ed again responded quickly and detailed what would be needed. He worked with our insurance companyh every step of the way. He and his team are professional, detailed, and accommodating and we are more than happy with our roof, skylights, and gutters that all needed replacing. We will use them in the future!

Highly recommend this company. Ed is very professional and honest. Only recommends work that needs to be done. I found other roofing companies were more focused on getting me to get an entirely new roof. Ed and his team focused on extending the life of my roof.
