From the outset, the level of professionalism displayed by the entire team was commendable. Doron (Don) stood out, particularly for his engagement and excitement throughout the process. It was very reassuring. He was genuinely excited and enthusiastic about the project. Great PM I expected the enthusiasm or communication to die down post-sale, but it did not; it got better. Don communicated clearly with scheduling, timeline, and permits and was very helpful in finalizing the colors and materials. Then, two weeks later, the incredible crew showed up. Don shows up first, ensures we are all on the same page, and they get to work. Given the significant investment, my pursuit for perfection is always on with big projects like this. Don understood this, and his rigorous QA checks consistently matched my high expectations; he was focused on making sure everything was the best it could be for us, and he did it with a smile and great conversation. The roofing crew was equally as pro. They were very experienced and speedy and executed very well. They are not just slapping on a roof; my new roof is not just functional; it’s a visual delight. The quality of craftsmanship is clear for all to see, and I have received many compliments on how good it looks. I selected Equinox and have zero regrets. I wish other contracting engagements were like the one I had with Equinox. Highly Recommended. Thanks, Don!

You can find several roofers with good reviews and similar scope of work, making a decision difficult. Equinox Roofing is more than good. They are outstanding, excellent. With the 1st meeting, Issac was more prepared explaining what they would do with samples, pictures and videos more than all the other roofers. The estimate was very detailed leaving no doubt what your money would get. It was not the lowest and not the highest, so a very fair price. The lowest had very little detail and highest was outrageous. There was no pressure to accept, whereas one other pushed hard to sign immediately with a couple efforts to lower the price. So be weary of any offers that seem to be too good, very suspicious. Equinox crew was very experienced and there was absolute confidence in the quality of their work. Issac provided photos of the work and daily progress status. There were a couple areas with greater damage that they fixed at no additional cost. Equinox will do their best to do the work at fixed cost. At the end of each day, the crew made sure all areas were cleaned up. The job was done on time and Issac repeatedly asked if I wanted anything else done to ensure that I was completely satisfied. The warrantee will outlive me, but if I had other property, I would certainly use Equinox, and encourage you to seek them out

I recently had the pleasure of working with Equinox Roofing for a roofing project at my property located in Montara, CA (Half Moon Bay area), and I couldn’t be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was outstanding, largely thanks to Dave Peretz, the project manager. It took me about one to settle on a contractor and I finally chose Equinox Roofing. From our first meeting, Dave was incredibly professional and knowledgeable, Even after one month, he was patient and attentive and even took the time to thoroughly explain the process all over again. The Equinox team arrived on time and cleaned up their worksite every day as Dave had promised. In addition to the roofing, Dave also replaced our skylights, gutters, and down spouts, improving the aesthetics of our building. All large jobs are never without problems. We had a verbal agreement, but somehow, I forgot to have it included in the contract. The workers were not aware of my verbal request and therefore it didn’t get done. I brought this up to Dave and he honored our verbal agreement and fixed the problem right away. I highly recommend Equinox Roofing and Dave Peretz to anyone in need of roofing services. Dave’s professionalism, Integrity and expertise to customer satisfaction truly set them apart. Thank you, Dave and the entire Equinox Roofing team, for a job well done!

We just had a new roof put on by Equinox and I was thrilled with the quality of the work and the efficiency of the crew as well. We have an old house that needed some TLC and these guys handled it like the pros they are. Our project manager was Eli and his communication was excellent- made the whole process feel smooth and easy.

We loved working with Ben and his team. They recently completed a reroof of our 2400 sq ft home that required a traditional pitched roof on original 80 year old part of house plus TPO membrane roof on Eichler style addition that was added in the 60s. It was not a straight forward project, but they handled it with ease. I really liked how kind and professional his crew was and how clean they left the worksite each day. Ben was just super nice & responsive ( fast) in communications as well. Highly recommend.

I recently had Equinox replace the roof on a commercial building that I own. The entire experience was nothing less than pleasurable and that is saying a lot about replacing a roof. My project manager Doron, was outstanding. He kept me informed throughout the duration of the work and made certain that all of the details were addressed. I own several properties and I will use Equinox for all of my roofing needs.

So this was my first major home project and I probably went a little too crazy getting estimates from like 6+ roofing companies. Really had no idea how any of this works. I had been told by others that there could be a wide range of the quotes, but that wasn’t my experience at all. At least whatever the market was at this point in time (Spring 2024), everyone’s bid was essentially comparable. You end up having to make a decision based on all the other factors. This pretty much immediately led me to go with Equinox and I’m very glad I did. And from my perspective at least, that was pretty much down to who I worked with — Doron (the project manager?). From the first time he showed up to take a look at my old roof, he seemed to stand out from most of the other guys who come out and gave me a good feeling. He always showed up when he said he would and on time. He had no high pressure sales vibe (though clearly was interested in my business). Everything from cost breakdown, options, and scheduling felt very natural and comfortable. Once they started the project his communication was clear and patient. Even now a month after it’s done you can really tell that he feels ownership of the job and cares about things being done right and people being satisfied. Like I said, at least from my limited experience “shopping around”, that’s really what differentiates these companies— the reliability, the reputation, and the communication. The roof looks great but honestly they all do LOL. It’s not that exciting of a project (unlike a fancy new kitchen or something) but it feels good to have peace of mind. I’m just glad that it went smoothly. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Doron and Equinox Roofing to friends and neighbors.

Starting any home improvement project can be very daunting, especially if it’s your first time. I had never undertaken any project this big before, so I was really nervous and not sure how to start. But I’m so glad that I chose the folks at Equinox to help me with my re-roofing project. Even from the very beginning, when I was going out for bids, I already had a good feeling about them. Doron, our project manager, was super informative and thorough about the services they would provide and materials they’d let me choose from, and of all the companies I sought quotes from, he was also the most up front about how the process would work, which really helped me feel at ease. They were also the quickest in providing me a response and quote. In terms of price, their estimate was also the most reasonable. All in all, I was pretty confident Equinox was the right decision for me. Once the work started, they were very flexible and communicative, which helped because I wasn’t at home when most of the project was taking place. Additionally, my roof is super steep and tricky, but the team handled the project expertly. The workers were prompt, quick, and efficient. I am very satisfied with the final result. Everything looks great, and I’m comforted by the warranty provided. The most important thing for me, though, was the friendly and caring service. I really felt comfortable during the whole process, which means so much because of how overwhelming the project felt at the start. I know I’ll be recommending Equinox Roofing to any family and friends I know who might be looking to get work done on their roofs.
