Let’s start out by saying if we could have rated zero stars, we would have! This company is owned by a scam artist! He will take your money and tell you he is licensed and bonded yet we found out the hard way that that is a lie. The License number he provided to us on our scope of work agreement and the certificate of Completion and Warranty are fraudulent ! His Name is Paul Enriquez and he should not be allowed to do business in the City of Temple or in the State of Texas for that matter. Our roof was finished in 2023, and we gave him the benefit of the doubt. We trusted what he said and thought he had integrity, that is until things started going wrong. For months we tried to contact him and he kept blowing us off. He would make excuse after excuse as to why he could not come back out and repair the damage or at the very least provide a tarp over the leaking areas. You will regret the day you decided to do business with this person of low integrity. He also has a temper and can be very threatening when you call him out on the lack of professionalism and the quality of workmanship he provides! Please don’t be victim to this scammer. He will take your money and never return your calls or text messages when you need him most! We are paying the price!!! I have pictures and called The secretary of the state of Texas and looked him up on R-CAT for an actual license, It was not shocking to find out that it was forfeited and inactive with complaints of fraud. I wish I did my homework instead of giving him the benefit of the doubt. We understand that sometimes mistakes happen. We gave him ample time to respond and acted with courtesy the whole time yet he NEVER LIFTED A FINGER TO MAKE IT RIGHT OR HONOR THE “WARRANTY” until we started posting reviews speaking the truth so that no one else would get scammed like we did. Paul has only been in business a short time, take our word that he knows exactly what he did wrong and tried to BLAME EVERYTHING ON THE CREW HE USED! THAT FACT ALONE, THAT HE TRIED TO BLAME IT ON THE CREW HE USED, SAYS ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT HIS LACK OF INTEGRITY AND PROFESSIONALISM. A GOOD ROOFER WILL BE LICENSED AND BACK UP HIS WORK!!! STEP UP AND DO THE RIGHT THING YOU COWARD, YOU FRAUD! STOP HARASSING ME. STAY AWAY FROM MY PROPERTY! YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF PAUL!

Paul is simply amazing! He goes above and beyond, courteous, professional and knowledgeable. I never knew how good the house could look with a new roof. They took care of the limbs rubbing against the roof, and clean up was great – I never even knew they were there. Great workmanship on the roof – I would highly recommend Paul and Chief Roofing to anyone!

Chief Roofing did fabulous work!! Paul was able to work within my budget and still provide an excellent product. Paul was able to stick to the time frame, even with the crazy Texas weather.
