I had a leak caused by my skylights. Instead of redoing flashing, I went with replacing the skylights all together, from the original deck mount to curb mount. The team was knowledgeable and they made the repairs promptly. I worked with Robert and he was pleasant to work with. Of all the quotes I received they were the only company who described in details point by point all the steps they would perform to accomplish the job – which gave me more confidence in their services.

I requested a quote for a re-roof from First Tier through the Yelp portal on a Tuesday, got a message 2 hours later setting up an appointment for the next day for a project manager to come give us an estimate. Robert showed up on time, spent a good hour walking the roof, pointing out to my husband areas of concern, and talking us through, in great detail, the entire process. The quote was reasonable and included replace/repair of all the issues he’d identified including some dry rot and some water damage, and finishing with stucco repair and painting the new fascia boards. We have a solar project scheduled as soon as the roof was finished, and he had his office shuffle the projects so they could start the following week. His crew showed up bright and early as scheduled, Robert was there to give detailed instructions, and in 3 days it was mostly done. The crew was professional and meticulously clean, leaving not a single nail on the ground. Project completed, permit signed off in a week. Excellent communication throughout; Robert kept in frequent touch about the progress and responded to my frequent texts promptly. We’ve done many home projects over the years; this was the best experience I’ve ever had. Not a single complaint. Excellent work, knowledgeable and skilled team, beautiful roof! They even offered to remove some unnecessary pipes/vents to give more room for our solar panels. I enthusiastically recommend First Tier. Could not be happier. (And, by the way, for the two other quotes we requested, technicians came out to take photos, no one knowledgeable bothered to come out, and both quotes did not include any issues that might turn up (like dry rot), which Robert identified and included in the quote. No extra costs.)

I recently had my roof replaced done by Frist Tier Exterior. They did a great job, provided high quality GAF products and work at a good price. I was very pleased with the results, and the crew was very professional and courteous. It has been a pleasure to work with Jeffrey and Luis from First Tier Exterior. They were extremely helpful, understanding, and very responsive throughout the project. I would highly recommend this company for the roof.

Jeremy and his team were great. We were under the impression that having skylights installed meant that we’d be living with tarps across the house for several days. Pleased to say that wasn’t the case! The team cleaned up after themselves every night. They showed up on time, were professional and got the job done. Couple of things we learned while installing skylights (1) the work depends on the weather, so plan accordingly, and (2) with permits, CA law requires that you have functioning CO and smoke detectors in all bedrooms. The price quoted was accurate too. Thanks again to Jeremy, Luis and Leo for keeping us updated on the progress and bringing light into our home.

I worked with FTE to complete a re-roof on my home in April and I’m super happy with the results. Our previous roof was concrete tile that’d reached the end of its life and I was set on not having that material again. I got bids from 7 different roofing companies and went with First Tier Exterior because I felt confident about the price, materials, warranty, and service offering. I worked with Manny and Luis to schedule the work; it took longer to get on the schedule than I’d hoped but it was due to lots of rainy weather this spring. Both were helpful when I had questions about roof materials and approach for a flatter portion of the garage roof that ended up getting torch down instead of shingles. The crew worked quickly and efficiently on the roof replacement and I’m really happy with the quality of workmanship. One con – I’m located in the north part of the East Bay so it took longer for final clean up but the crew did a good job once they came back. I would reach out to FTE again for other exterior needs too.

I recently had some work done by First Tier Exterior. They did a great job, providing high-quality work at a good price. I was pleased with the results, and the crew was professional and courteous. While waiting for the new parts to arrive, they took steps to protect the roof, which I appreciated. Overall, I would definitely recommend them.

Had a roof leak and First Tier Exterior was called from my HOA. Unfortunately the original appointment for the following day was not set on the project manager’s schedule, so it was a no show when I rushed home from work to make the appointment. A new appointment was made for the following day and Alex came out on time. He thoroughly checked the leak by including to check the attic. I was impressed by his thoroughness and honesty with what work needed to be done to solve the leak issue. Since it was a rainy time, Alex came back the following day with another project manager to tarp the roof, so no more water would penetrate through the roof, until there’s drier weather when the work could be completed. I was impressed with the quick response coming out to check the leak as well as the ability to return the following day to tarp for protection. Alex had good communication throughout the process.

First of all the project manager Eddie Darosa was very prompt and professional. He listened to my needs knew what I wanted and didn’t try to up sell. He measured wrote everything down and gave me a price within one hr. I had been waiting for other quotes for well over one week. He wasn’t the cheapest or most expensive but the price was fair and reasonable. I signed the paperwork said they could start in about 3 weeks. The next day I get a call said they could tear old roof off on Sunday and they would start the roof on Monday. Ok what a start .Roof off Monday came met Leo and his crew. Couldn’t have asked for better. They worked hard and until the sun set for 4 days . Wonderful job . Came inspection day inspector came also said excellent job. All I can say is First Tier Exterior is the one and Eddie Darosa is the one to ask for

We hired First Tier Exterior to re-stucco an entire wall which suffered from water intrusion due to aging. Jeremy came for the initial inspection and suggested that I talk to their stucco contractor Felix to find out the best possible solution. Felix is humble and knowledgeable, and explained the potential options to solve our problem. We decided to re-stucco the whole wall and replace the existing windows and a patio door. First Tier’s quote was the best out of many that we explored. A combination of this and the 10 year warranty helped us make our decision to go with First Tier Exterior. Jeremy, the manager and his team helped with ordering windows and scheduling the work and inspections. Jeremy is professional and patient in answering all my questions and concerns throughout the project. Felix is understanding and accommodated details that we requested like adding foam trims around doors and windows. The team worked efficiently and did a good job. Thank you First Tier Exterior!
