Highly recommend Two Brothers Roofing! We needed our roof replaced quickly as we were one week from listing our house. Ruben and Jolene met with us personally and walked us through the process. They worked directly with our insurance company and got the job done quickly. The crew was professional and worked hard to get our roof installed and even repaired and painted our chimney. Thanks to the whole staff at Two Brothers! We are greatful for the new and improved curb appeal for our house.

We learned recently that our HVAC system vent, our stove exhaust and two bathroom exhaust vents are not vented to the roof. They are all going into the attic. I called Two Brothers Roofing to get an estimate for fixing this problem, and Rueben came out to look at the problem. He found that because of the limited crawl space, they would have to go in through our roof to fix the issues. However, he was honest enough to tell me that the whole project would probably not be worth the expense since we are a small household and we don’t have gas heating. He advised me to double check with our HVAC guy to make sure. He said they could do the if necessary, but that it’s probably not really necessary. I totally appreciated his frank and free advice. I would definitely use these guys in the future if a need does arise. Thank you, Rueben!

I got an estimate from Ruben and Two Brothers Roofing early this year. Ruben was, at first blush, amiable and professional. In that sense, he’s a great salesman. Ruben indicated his job minimum was $550. I understood and agreed to this, but was still pretty disappointed when the technician spent a grand total of 38 minutes on site (security cameras FTW). Cost for materials was negligible. When I got the invoice, I called Ruben and asked if he would consider reducing the price to be commensurate with the 38 minutes the job took. He declined, but did offer a 10% military discount, bringing the total to $500 for 38 minutes of work. Oh well – that one’s on me. The bigger problem is that the technician used a marshmallow soft, sticky, tarry, product to patch a gap between the roof and two doors, which are both medium-traffic areas. Six months later, it still hasn’t “set.” It’s still soft and squishy. Even bigger problem – neither Ruben nor the technician told us anything about the materials used to fix the roof, nor did either of them advise us to avoid foot traffic on that area for any period of time. Reminder – these areas are right where the roof meets DOORS. When we had a technician out to service our air handler on the roof, he stepped in it, smashed it down, and tracked tar and gravel through our house. I don’t blame him – I blame the company that used a product like that right by a door and subsequently failed to tell us to never step there again. I emailed Ruben on April 24 to see if he would repair it either as a warranty issue or as a customer satisfaction issue. He partially responded on May 3 by finally explaining the product, but he ducked my question about whether he’d fix it. I wrote him back on May 7. No response. I wrote him back 3 weeks later on May 28, asking for the mere courtesy of a response. He indicated he didn’t view it as a warranty issue. This time, he ducked the question as to whether he’d fix it as a customer satisfaction issue. Bottom line, due to the questionable workmanship and misuse of materials for a specific job, the failure to provide any instructions or guidance to their customer, and poor post-sale customer service, I wouldn’t recommend this company.
