A hail storm just hit and I noticed a neighbor posted this shield company advertisement sign in the yard. I reached out to shield roofing and the owner was using a selling point of being from around the area and he has done a lot of homes in this area as well. He seemed friendly overall. I received a bid from Shield prior to speaking to my insurance company. I felt that because shield knew insurance would be involved due to hail in the area they increased pricing to create larger profit margin. In this specific event I plan to upgrade from shingle to a metal roof and when you consider this option it becomes a retail quote- and can increase it substantially. Make sure to ask for a quote before agreeing to go with any company, especially in the event that your insurance will be involved. In my opinion they know insurance will being paying a portion so price gouging becomes an issue. I also like to have 3 companies to bid me and ask each roofers opinion of the roof. Make sure before choosing a company because you see a sign in a neighbors yard, or they mention you need representation when your insurance company comes out that you do your due diligence and have 3 companies come out to give you an estimate. DONT go in blind sided and sign a contingency agreement and then figure out that youre not happy with pricing or not liking what they are offering you. **In my experience Roofers always say that they are on your side and that the insurance company is on the other side. Don’t forget the roofer is in the business of making money, NOT just the insurance company.** Also try to go with the company that has been around for more than 20+ years and doesn’t spend their revenue on lots of overhead like branded utility trucks and big advertisement. I always like to leave my experience for the next person, and I hope this helps. God bless!

After the recent hail storm, I contacted my insurance to come inspect my roof. I was unfortunately denied even though my neighbors were all getting new roofs. I contacted Shield Roofing and they were able to meet with the adjuster to get my roof approved. The insurance tried saying it was wear and tear and it wasn’t covered and if that was the case, we would have been stuck with an old roof. What started as a denial turned into a full replacement! I’m so glad that we contacted Shield Roofing and they were able to help us out with our claim

I have been approached over the past 2-3 months by many different roofing companies due to the last hail storm. Many of them were pushy and unprofessional. Luckily I remembered that I had a great conversation last year with Shield Roofing Company and reached back out to them. Shield Roofing Company has been amazing from start to finish with my roof replacement. The owner Henry, is extremely knowledgeable and helpful with the whole process including working with the inspector and insurance company. His crew is very professional, quick and clean up extremely well. I would highly recommend Shield Roofing Company for your roof replacement.

This is the second hailstorm that Shield Roofing has replaced my roofing materials. Again, as in the first time five years ago, Shield Roofing did a fantastic job replacing it. Henry, the owner, oversaw the installation and personally inspected making sure that all work was done correctly. Henry expects nothing but perfection. Shield Roofing came out to our property to inspect our roof. It was our first time doing this and they did a really good job of explaining everything to us and making sure we understood the process. They helped us file a claim with the insurance company and they were with us every step of the way. They completed my roof a lot faster than I expected and they did a really good job of cleaning up also. They came highly recommended from my neighbors and they certainly did not disappoint.
