Our roof leaks in 3 places. The leaks started 1 month after installation. After months of trying to get it fixed, Metalman sent a team who said after taking the roof cap off that the metal did not go all the way to the top of the roof, flashing was not nailed down, and it was damp underneath the metal where the water was leaking in. The poor workmanship was only discovered after the roof cap was removed. Metalman’s fix was to caulk the gap where the water was leaking in and reinstall the cap. The caulk is very visible and makes the roof look like a patchwork job! After 1 month the roof was leaking in the same 3 places. After several months of trying to reach Metalman’s warranty team to get fixed, Metalman sent a “Roof Expert” to evaluate the damage. When their expert took the damage to Metalman’s Brett Heinemeyer, he called us to tell us he was sending a “Different Roof Expert” because it was too much. ???REALLY??? This roof was very expensive for us but we signed with them as a good investment for our home. Our contract has a lifetime warranty and it would bring the value of our home up with less maintenance for us since we are older now. A metal roof is only good if it is installed properly which ours was not! Metalman talked us into installing snow stops but they didn’t go to the snow stop manufacturer before installation for the required engineering plans so they did not get installed properly and the metal was torn from the roof where the snow stops were placed. Our roof shows obvious poor workmanship/damage and worst of all it still leaks in the same 3 places and we are getting the run-around with Brett. We do not want a patchwork roof that leaks! This needs to be resolved as soon as possible. This can all be supported with documentation and photographs. -If rating could show negative stars they would get it-

If I could give negative stars, it would be all they deserve. Roof is leaking, and issues never get resolved. So, about every 6 months, we go through water leaking.

I was looking to add new gutters for my single-roof house, but the price was way too high, around 10x more than other quotes I received. I didn’t choose their cutting-edge LeafGuard gutters, so I don’t know if it was worth it after all. The free quote comes with a very thorough sales pitch, for which I thank Jeremy Pettit in its knowledge and tenacity.

This experience has been so frustrating from the beginning. I would never recommend this business to anyone ever. The salesmen promised work done in a week….six weeks later it was finished, and now we have a leak, which made our furnace stop working. Not to mention the leak during the installation process. The workmen just showed up to fix the leak and decided it was too wet. So thus the water continues to come in. Do yourselves a favor, find another company.

Well they came out and did my roof. But the quality that I expect isn’t what I expected. After it’s done it doesn’t look flat it has ripples and waves on the roof. It’s not flat like every other house I see. And the ventilation is not enough up there and strong feeling I will have problems down the road. They were so supposed replace bad boards underneath the shingles before put on shingles. And we paid to much money for their work. Good sales man pitch to get us to have them do the job. They told us that we got your back and we will take care of you. I paid for third-party for a different roofing company. Instead of their own crew. I made a big mistake for them to do the job. I will not recommend them to anyone. I am not satisfied customer. Well I am still waiting for them to make an effort to call me. After they get with me to make it right for me. They say stuff and they lied to me. Nice sales pitch and they talked me out with another roofing company. Still they say they will make right for US. But still have not done it yet. I recommend no use then. Over price on their work and materials.

The salesman was very informative. He explained in detail on the condition of my roof. He was very nice and professional. The MetalMan roof is definitely the way to go but unfortunately it was out of my budget range.

Thorough and professional roof insp . Checked attic for water and heat damage . Detailed and professional presentation of products and company . Metal roofing was out of my budget .
