Excellent work, very responsive. Very professional. Put a new roof on my house and completely covered my house with sheets of plywood to protect the house from damage during construction. Cleaned up perfectly too. Highly recommended.

This company is the best! We had a TON of hail damage and after dealing with other companies that would ghost me, I contacted Steve from Iron Horse Building. Steve was extremely responsive, answered every question and made sure we were happy with every aspect of the repairs. I don’t think he ever sleeps. The company put a new roof on our home and two other buildings, new gutters and new siding! All the workers were polite, helpful, and efficient. All the work was done well and everything looks amazing!! You can’t go wrong with this company!

I vetted about 9 roofers in total in the Howell area. Many told me I needed to vent my bathroom fans through my roof and informed me it would be about a 2-3k mark up. I reached out to Steve from Iron Horse, he actually directed me to HVAC because guess what in the state of Michigan turns out those guys should really be the ones doing it not roofers. Anyways, cost 200 total for three fans to be vented out of the home and was informed it is actually not good to go through the roof in Michigan but through the side of the home. Anyways, Steve was very helpful explained everything related to what would be completed and informed me of their 0% interest loan for 18 months (this is our first home so this was greatly needed). After back and forth emails, (I work too much, so this was the best way to communicate) we set up a date and time and the day of, a bunch of guys showed up ready to work and completed the roof in a day. They cleaned up and came back the next day to inspect and check on other items. All around a great price for a job well done.

Iron Horse put our roof on in the summer of 2023, did an amazing job. Crew was awesome, respected my property, cleaned up after themselves. Communication from Steve was great. Had some exterior carpenters out at my place in the fall after the roof was finished. They commented on the new roof and asked who did it, they were impressed with how tight everything was and complimented the work. If you’re looking for a new roof, look no further, would give them my business again without question.

Iron Horse building is the only building company I will ever use. They are simply amazing! My home was impacted by the hail storm in Davison. Steve sent Bob from Iron horse to assess the damage before my insurance company. He did a full inspection with photos and detailed descriptions of the damage. Sure enough my insurance company tried to wiggle out of replacing my roof and wanted to do repairs to a portion of my roof and siding. Steve worked directly with my claim specialist and showed them the estimate from Iron Horse with detailed photos and evidence to replace my whole roof, all siding, gutters, downspouts, and window casings. Within the hour my entire claim was approved. No doubt I would have been screwed over by my insurance company without Steve and Bob from Iron Horse. So now the claim was approved, how was the work? Within a week from approval date we had materials dropped off. They did my entire roof in a day. They used 50 year shingles and the crew was awesome!!! They never left a mess of any kind on my property. 2 days later new gutters installed. Siding and window casings all installed shortly after. Steve stayed in constant contact with me thru the entire process, down to the smallest details. First class communication and workmanship!!! They are true professionals. I referred a friend with the same situation. He also had the same red carpet experience. If you use anyone else, you are cheating yourself. They are that good!!!

The Iron Horse Building LLC Company is by far the best group of people I could ever imagine working with! Their craftsmanship and professionalism cannot be matched. Our roof looks amazing! From the quote to the work to paying the bill, the communication was top notch. There was never a time we did not know when the crew was showing up to finishing the work. Steve and his team did a great job all around…would give them 10 stars if I could.
