This company was previously based out of Bloomington IL and has scammed lots of people from that town. The owner Matthew has retained an attorney to escape repaying the deposits owed to customers that signed contracts with them. I have been unable to get anyone to refund my money and they have taken 5,000 while doing no work.

We hired them to do our roof and siding. After our roof was complete, we have not been able to get ahold of them and they NEVER return calls or e-mails. They have our money and haven’t completed the job.

I just got a letter that they will not be completing their work and they will not be able to pay back money owed to some and to contact their lawyer. They were paid for the full amount of the job. They owe me money. Unethical and dishonest company company.

I just received a letter from this company’s lawyer saying they are closing the business and all scheduled jobs are being cancelled. No insurance deposits are being returned. We have been waiting almost a year to get on their schedule. We were just strung along being told we would be hearing from them soon. Finally, the last couple of months no one would answer emails or phone calls. I suspected something was going on. It just didn’t feel right. Now I need to figure out how to get my insurance claim money back so I can get my siding done!!

It has been 11 months since I first signed with Iron Roofing to do our roof and siding. We tried to get ahold of them by phone and email with no success only to get an email from their attorney TODAY that they are closing and may not be able to pay us back for the checks we signed over. Now we are out the insurance money to fix our siding and our insurance rate went up because of the claim that is now not being worked on by Iron Roofing. I cannot believe this is happening. They seemed like nice people but it was all a scam. Google should give the option for zero stars.

Terrible communication and very unprofessional. I’ve been waiting for my roof to be replaced for over a year, first it was April then it was July now they started to completely ignore all of my request for answers. They had no problem cashing our $4,500 dollar deposit though. Shady.

Had bad experience with this guys , Insurance was asking for additional photos and was following with this guys for upto six months and they never shown up . I will not recommend this

They handled all the details with my insurance company and delivered as promised. Were very responsive when I had questions, process was not as fast due to the insurance company, but they explained everything as we went along and just had to cut the red tape. Once weather allowed roof was on within a day, gutters were done later and looks amazing! Thank you Hugo and company for such a pleasant experience.
