Sean met with me to help with hail damage to my house. He was very helpful throughout the process. Of course, we had hiccups throughout the process although the way I judge a company is by the way they handle the adverse situations that pop up. Mike and his crew did an outstanding job. Mike cooridinated with the insurance adjusters and made all of the arrangements for payment. New roof,Gutters and windows all professionally installed and look great. Cleanup very thorough. Would highly recommend Mike and First Choice Exteriors.

After 20+ years of service, the roofing and associated appurtenances on our townhomes were showing signs of deterioration due to extreme weather and normal aging. As a result, the Association board deemed it advisable to replace the roofs as soon as possible. After an exhaustive bid review and interview process with several roofing contractors, the HOA Board selected First Choice Exteriors as the successful contractor based upon: • Their extensive experience with large roofing projects, and townhome associations, • Their overall industry knowledge and experience, • Perceived provider quality as verified from reference testimonials, • Proposal quality and lowest “evaluated” cost, • Their perceived ability to deliver on all aspects of the project, • Their availability/schedule, and finally, • Their flexibility/reliability as verified from reference testimonials. The scope of the project awarded to First Choice Exteriors included replacement of the roofing materials and roof appurtenances for the properties 15 buildings (68 total units), including the replacement of 38 skylights. They also served as the general contractor overseeing the replacement of weather damaged windows and/or patio doors associated with 34 different units on the property and the removal and the replacement of the gutter systems. The committed schedule was approximately 4 weeks subject to favorable weather conditions. It is not an overstatement to say that the Board and the homeowners were impressed with the way the project was executed. From the very start, the First Choice staff was extremely well organized, sensitive to the homeowners’ needs, and fully engaged. There were 3 full time project managers on site managing the workers and interfacing with the workers and homeowners as necessary to address all construction issues and homeowner access/egress during construction. Dave Mack, Alex Pedersen, and Preston Willier, our 3 Project Managers, were seasoned and knowledgeable resources with excellent communication skills truly facilitating the conduct of work and communication with the homeowners. The crews performing the actual roof replacement were on the job from approximately 6:30am each morning (weather permitting) and worked tirelessly until after 7:00pm to keep the job on schedule despite a few weather-related delays. During the bid process, bid solicitors are often promised “everything” to garner the contract. I can honestly say First Choice met all of the selling points they identified to sell the Board on their award. The quality of the work performed and attention to detail was beyond reproach, the crew cleaned up the grounds each and every evening before leaving the jobsite (including magnet sweeps of affected landscaping, walkways and driveways for nails), the project and homeowners were well managed by the site managers, schedules were achieved, and First Choice’s co-owners, Mark Willier and Mike McCain were fully engaged on the project, visiting the job site regularly to communicate with the Board and review project progress. In summary, First Choice Exteriors has demonstrated that they are a very qualified supplier, completing every aspect of our roof replacement project in a competent, and quality/customer centric manner, and I would recommend use of this organization without reservation for any of the services they offer. Where to start, AMAZING experience with First Choice exteriors! When my wife and I needed new siding, soffit, fascia we checked out a few different companies, from the large nation wide companies to local companies. One of the many things that stood out about First Choice was they didn’t play the whole “used car salesman” act like all the other companies we spoke to. We worked with Mike and he was friendly, professional, honest, a great communicator, and transparent. Anything but what we experienced with other contractors (and we have dealt with many other contractors in our day). Plus they are a local business and we prefer to support local and keep things within our community! When it came to the job itself, the crew and craftsmanship was next level! The detail, care, communication was top notch! To say they met expectations is an understatement, they went above and beyond to ensure we were getting the final product we envisioned. They kept us informed as things came up during the project and collaborated when needed. I was blown away at how quick they did the job while exceeding the details that went into the project! We are so glad we made the decision to go with First Choice Exteriors and highly recommend them to anyone looking for the experience you should get when working with a contractor! Truly can’t say enough about how amazing their team is! If you are thinking about getting exterior work done from the roof down, these guys need to be on your job site! Our home was hail damaged last summer. First choice exteriors was hired to do the work. From start to finish they were excellent. Sean Morrison was very helpful working with my insurance company and suggesting shingle and siding colors. Five stars all the way.

First Choice was incredible and every stage of the job. From the estimator, Jesse, working with the insurance company and getting everything we had coming to us, to the project manager, who patiently answered all of our questions and made sure everything was in order, to the incredible crew, who efficiently completed the job and cleaned up every nail and scrap of metal to be sure our property was in just as good as shape as when they came to start. I would always go with first choice.

Amongst the plethora of options, if you want a top notch experience from beginning to end, select First Choice. Sean Morrison was exceptional at explaining what would be done and was always responsive to any question. His experience and passion for superior personal service provides reassurance that your needs will be met. Trust him to follow through with you and treat you as if you are his only customer. Alex was excellent with coordinating the installation and the project went seamlessly. The extra care to clean up any debris and leave my yard flawless is astounding. A retired roofing professional inspected my roof and was very impressed with their workmanship. The left over materials were neatly stacked and picked up within 2 days. Both Alex and Sean followed up with me after the installation to ensure my satisfaction. If you want this level of assurance and personal touch, select them and be thrilled.

First Class Company, job was done efficiently, professionally.on time, on Budget the workman where good to work with and respectful of the residence. Being in construction myself for 40 Years this was probably the best subcontractor I’ve ever experienced. When the job was done it was left so well you never know that our buildings had been worked on.

I can’t speak highly enough about the First Choice Exteriors team. Mike and the team helped me through every step of our remodel and were very knowledgable and responsive throughout the process. Dave is as good of a PM as anyone can ask for and made sure our project was installed right, looked great, and the clean-up was spotless. Jeremy’s gutter install was prompt, efficient, and high-quality. All said and done, the whole team was professional, courteous, and did great work. Would definitely recommend for anyone doing an exterior remodel, especially when working with homeowner’s insurance. Thanks First Choice!
