Larry and his team did a fantastic job replacing our very old roof (posting this ~8 months later after a number of heavy rains, so if there were any immediate issues, we would’ve seen them by now. Roof and gutters still looking new and a stubborn skylight leak has not returned). His quote was competitive and they did a good job of scheduling around some very hard to predict rain and got the work done on time despite needing to replace more than originally thought.

FANTASTIC. The quality of work is super solid. The response time is respectful and fast. The price is fair and what it should be. But most of all, this company acts with integrity and respect. Jerry was acutely aware that he wasn’t fixing my house, he was fixing my home. As is often the case, once the physical layers of a project start peeling away, the depth of what needs fixing is exposed. Verrazano never took this as an opportunity to alter the scope. Like true porofessionals, they took everything in stride and finished the job with calm craftsmanship and care. I ALWAYS felt like I was in good hands. They go the extra mile and do the job right. I couldn’t recommend a company more. A+++

I contacted Verrazano roofing for a tech to come and look at a leak I had coming from roof. Technician came took pictures described the issue and even gave me a quote. Company gave me a start date however never showed up. Called the owner son he didn’t even remember he had the date scheduled. I setup a second start date with them again never called or came. Completely ghosted me. I can’t do business with a company I can’t trust. Found another roofer who thankfully is helping me with my project. Horrible experience with Verrazano roofing.

Larry was amazing to work with and Rusty did great work replacing my front gutter and fixing an issue on my roof in Bay Ridge. Fair price, highly responsive, the job was done quickly, and I’ll be calling them for anything else I need moving forward for roofing.

Larry and his crew replaced the waterproofing on a small roof for us last summer. This roof had accumulated several layers of bitumen over the years and was the worse for wear with obvious rumpling of the bitumen and cracks in the flashing. We got quotes for repair from several companies. Most proposed putting down yet another layer of bitumen and touching up the flashing at parapet walls. Larry was the only contractor who proposed stripping off the existing waterproofing completely and building back up from the deck. The cost was about 2x the other quotes but we had a lot more confidence in his approach and the lifetime of the work. His crew removed the old bitumen covering in a couple hours with picks and pry-bars, made required repairs to a scupper and the roof deck, and had the new waterproofing installed by the early afternoon. Liquid flashing was required at the parapet wall and roof vents, and all edges were taped for clean lines. The final roof level dropped by about 4″ because of the amount of material removed, and the new roof looks great and should be good for another 15-20 years or more. We’re super happy with the result and Larry will be our go-to for any future work to roofs on our building.

I have had a consistent leak near a roof drain coming into the apartment below and multiple companies came and “repaired” it over a 3 year span. Larry and his team came diagnosed the problem quicker and accurately repaired the issue. I can’t stress enough how hard it is to find companies like this that not only show up on time, but have great professional attitudes, attention to detail, clean up when they’re done and very competitive pricing. I highly recommend this roofing company for all roofing needs.
