Jacob from Salmon Creek Electric did an excellent job of installing my level two charger at my home. He communicated well what was involved, informed me about my power requirements for my new EV. All work was performed as planned. I want to publicly thank Jacob for his professionalism, knowledge and his work ethic. This is very important. I didn’t know if my home circuit could handle a EV charger. Jacob did the analysis of my power usage and helped me understand the scope of the project. The next time I need electrical work I will call for Jacob at Salmon Creek Electric.

Big shout out to Salmon Creek Electric for helping on a commercial job. Jake was quick to schedule an inspection and book the job, easy to communicate with, on time, and very knowledgeable. He created a game plan and executed it flawlessly on an older building that needed new 240 and 110 lines installed. Highly recommend. Will be using him again in the future for another couple commercial jobs and for some residential work I need done as well.

Five stars for Jake and Salmon Creek Electric! I recently had Jake from Salmon Creek Electric install an EV charger at my home, and I couldn’t be happier with the service. He was professional, knowledgeable, and efficient from start to finish. Jake took the time to explain my options and help me choose the right options (NEMA 14-50 vs hardwired charger) for my needs. He also pointed me at the links for WA state rebates and federal tax rebates. The installation was completed quickly and efficiently, and Jake even took the time to show me how to upgrade the circuit breakers in the future if I installed more appliances. I highly recommend Jake for any electrical work, but especially for EV charger installations: He is very knowledgeable about EV chargers and was able to answer all of my questions. His services are affordable too.

I called Jacob an artist for the way he smartly and effectively ran three new lines and added a generator input for our house. He knew exactly how to solve the tough problems and get the job done, so the inspector could fly thru the details & sign-off. Plus, what an easy going guy, totally charming my vicious little dogs and barely shrugging at the pouring rain!

Jake at Salmon Creek Electric was absolutely amazing. He came after hours to help us get our electricity back on twice as well as the original electrical work we had originally hired him for. He did an amazing job and was very friendly and professional. We would highly recommend him! Five stars! He definitely knows his stuff.

I truly appreciated Jake and his professionalism. He is extremely knowledgeable and took the extra time to make sure to explain what went wrong with my electrical issues. I realize I know nothing about electrical, but Jake was very patient with all the questions and concerns I had threw at him. Not only was he patient with me, he was also vary kind to my curious children and dogs, that had dropped in on him a time or two to see what he was doing. The work was finished within the time line he gave me, price he quoted and based on our conversations and results of his work, I feel confident that in my decision use to Salmon Creek Electrical was truly the right one. I will use them in the future and I can easily recommend Jake to my family and friends!

Had a very unprofessional scenario with Jake (owner of Salmon Creek Electric). Jake and I had a break down of communication. The installation process was not explained to me thoroughly (I have no clue on electricity/permitting, how many days would take, pulling permit time needed, inspection, etc). When I heard we were going into my already scheduled contractor time – I was let down, disappointed, and even expressed was going to cry (was on project overload). I told Jake he should had been more specific in beginning on the time he needed. I did not realize it would take over week to run the electrical, I had thought days only. However, and ownership on my part, I should had shared my timeline too. After our initial conversation where he said we were going into next week (where my tone became one of disappointment) I went into the house to call the contractor to reschedule. When I came back out, next thing I know Jake is upset that I yelled at him. I was shocked. In no way did I “yell” at him. My tone was one of holding each other accountable, one of disappointment, one of being upset, a cry tone on my part. I Never raised my voice. I apologized if he mistook me. We talked about our misunderstanding. I thought we worked it out. We left it as he would finish the project. Well, About 20 minutes later, I see him leave. I texted asking if he would be coming back. He said no, he couldn’t work in conditions where he was yelled at. Again, I was astonished. He couldn’t even tell me in person he was leaving (when he had just said he was good and would finish the job). Jake has a Soft/quiet demeanor so I’m sure my disappointed persona (in the project process) was taken a little to much to heart and out of context. But leaving without saying a word is pretty unprofessional no matter the situation.
