7/9/2024- As luck would have it, the ac decided to just blow hot air late yesterday and all night…(my dogs were miserable).. the thermostat was set to 78 but was registering 81… Started researching… I would rather stay with the smaller business, and this one stood out. Called, and got a live person! Very professional, and just my luck they had a cancellation. Transparent with pricing and look forward to his visit today! Thanks for picking the phone up, and will update after the visit. 5 stars-!!! On time and extremely knowledgeable-!! Matt rocks! Definitely going in my contacts-. Passionate about his work and extremely customer focused! Needed and replaced a capacitor and .5 lbs of refrigerant.. My dogs are happy too! Will call them again in November for a tune up/maintenance.. also have them clean up the furnace.. Saved for now until we need a new ac unit.. but when that happens we will call Happy Heating.. I was so Happy (lol).. I packed up some pasta salad and water for him to eat on his next stop.. Thank you!

I normally don’t give anything a 5 star. Why did I for them. Customer service. In a day where that seems to be going away they did great. I think they did more than they needed. They were accommodating to what ever I needed, and the tech were always respectful of the house. Any issue I asked about they gave me an answer, and they didn’t make anything up. They checked on a couple of things to make sure I was getting the correct information. On their own they found a gap between the house and vent tubes, about 1 inch seperation and fixed that. No more heating the crawl space. On a side note when they originally did the quote they made a mistake to their side. Matt called me and let me know the mistake before they even started and saved me money. If he had not called I would have paid more. How many companies have the integrity to call out their own mistake and saves the customer money? Not many. Here are before and after. Also once they had removed the insulation the duct work under was not good. They rebuilt it by hand and sealed it. So much better.

Happy Heating and Matt are the best. Matt thoroughly inspected my heating concerns for performance. He then explained some shortcuts the original installer’s took that could be fixed. However, he said those repairs would not be impactful enough to justify the cost so just better to wait until replaced. He then fully explained the type of heater installed that uses water. (???) His recommendation was just to perform a service of vacuuming out the system and cleaning out the screen. Only $150! Matt also answered my questions on possible longevity and a Home Warranty. I asked him why in a recent past experience for a very small repair to my A/C unit the technician recommended I consider replacing my A/C unit at a cost of $15k, $20k or $25k. He stated they were trying to upsell. I further asked him why so much to replace an A/C unit. He just kinda smiled. So I asked him how much to replace my A/C unit for my 1500 sqft home and he said less than $10k. Honest, professional and patient. Rare in this day and age. Cannot recommend them high enough.
