Had an installer from another company come out and mess up an install stating that my electrical is a fire hazard and needed to be replaced. The electrician from Ruby called me in the am, I discussed what had happened and he already know what the issue was. No fire hazards or bad setups, the installer just didnt hooknit up correctly. The Ruby electrician was in and out in less than an hour. He wore shoe covers and had very good rates. Everyone I spoke to was polite and they were prompt! 5/5 great job.

Ruby, electric has been servicing Camp Bunn for sometime now. Today Chad was here to rewire some of the main electrical boxes in our maintenance building. In addition he replaced several overhead light fixtures. He is knowledgeable, personable, and a delight to work with. He has excellent customer service and represents a fine company.

A little over 10 years ago Kevin from Ruby Electric Inc. here in Springfield, IL designed and installed the electrical connections and needs for the last pipe organ St. Louis Pipe Organ Company out of St. Louis, MO built for my manufactured home! Yes . . . this is a “Diamond in the Cornfield” up in the Northeast portion of Springfield, IL. Not to mention a 9-stop church pipe organ completed with chimes, zimblestern and a Peterson ISC-4000 Solid State Operating System! The Starter Capacitor went out on the organ’s blower after 10 years of service and many, many hours of enjoyment. I called Kevin at Ruby Electric Inc. and Dan was assigned my project and sent out to my home to assess and repair the Starter Capacitor. Dan was very professional, personable and pulled the blower motor and took it to First Electric Motor Shop here in Springfield and within a few minutes had the problem diagnosed and the starter capacitor replaced! Dan returned the next day to install the blower motor on my home instrument! I am just a small job for a large electrical service company such as Ruby Electric Inc here in Springfield, IL . . . and I ALWAYS know that Ruby Electric Inc will fit me into their schedule and get the job done. I’ve learned that having patience and waiting a little . . . really pays off in this old world! I want to thank the office manager for her expertise and personal care in taking care of my electrical needs! I also want to thank Kevin who continues to be an “Asset” for my home instrument! And lastly, I want to thank Dan for his kindness! This guy is not only an “Amazing Electrical Engineer” he also is very kind and personable! I enjoyed talking with him and learning from him throughout his visit! And once the pipe organ blower was reinstalled and up and running . . . I gave Dan a small taste of what 9 stops can do! He was just a pleasure to work with and have in my home! Thanks Much Everyone for fixing one of the “Joy’s of My Heart!” And my little dog, Angel Bear Paw Paw, enjoyed the time Dan gave shared with her playing with “Lamb Chops” which is her “Favorite Toy!” Thank You Ruby Electric Inc. Arrived w 53′ trailer minimal space to back into off street, however owner was very accommodating had forklift brought to trailer. Staff friendly, helpful and professional. Would return

The only reason I gave 1 star is that there is not 0 available. I called to see if anybody was available to give me an estimate on my house being completely rewired the person I spoke with on the phone secretary I am assuming. First she asked me if I had any knob and tube which I do not. I did however tell her that I had some older wiring from the 50s the old oily cloth type and she said well if it’s cloth type, it Hass to be no tube and we do not do knob and tube. I told her once again it is standard 214 wires with the cloth covering around both to which she replied well we are very busy now and we don’t have time to take on another client to which I replied. OK I will spend my money with somebody that does know what they’re doing.
