7/3 AC compressor went out during heat wave on a three year old system that was bought, installed, and maintained by Gilmore. Service appointment was made for 7/5 and then cancelled due to a scheduling error with their system. Tech arrived 7/8, 3 days after prior appointment and could not find anything wrong with system even though it was not pushing out cold air. Tech advised we would talk to manager and have someone look at it. Next day 7/9, no communication on next steps till I called and asked what the plan was. Service scheduler told me a part was ordered and waiting till it arrives. I questioned that because I was told everything tested ok and he did not know what was wrong. Later found out, Service Manager was consulted and part was ordered without my knowledge. On 7/10, again communication was lacking and I had to call again and ask about part eta and getting scheduled. Was told part was not available from supplier and had to order from manufacturer that will take a week. They scheduled an appointment on 7/18, the day the part is expected to arrive which I did appreciate. Hopefully the part comes in early and they can squeeze me in the schedule. The unit is under warranty thankfully. I was a loyal local customer but it seems they have gotten too big too fast and have lost that small town touch. Communication needs to get better. Looking forward to my system being fixed on the 18th.

They have been incredible! We called late at night with an urgent need for AC since we have a family member on hospice. Dane answered the phone with compassion and asked many thorough questions to help find the root of the issue. Then this morning right as they opened they gave me a call to schedule a time that worked best for us with a very impressive 12 hour turn over, especially in this record heat wave. We will for sure be going back to Gilmores!!

Terrible experience. First appointment 6/14 was ignored by your company even after they called to let me know they were running late. Then they sent someone too big to fit under the house even though I told them the issue was under the house. After the third appointment and 2nd time someone actually showed up they wanted $1,300 to fix a “kinked” y fitting. Absolutely ludicrous price gouging. Even replacing the entire duct length and the fitting would be less than $100 of material leaving $1,200 of labor. They obviously did not want to do this work so they priced themselves out of the work. I have been part of the VIP membership since 2018. I will never use or refer them again. Update: I just finished fixing the two vents for $121.19 in parts and three hours including finding the exact collapsed duct. They must pay their technicians great, $400/hr?

Though there was some miscommunication with dispatch, our Technician did a great job checking out our hvac system in the house (installed by Gilmore) and assuring us it is operating well & will be reliable in this hot summer weather. She was great & explained the charges well & stayed till the job was done!

Cameron Hill came to service my AC system and all is now working great. Cameron is very professional, on time and courteous. Cameron answered all my many questions. He explained all the items he had checked off the Cooling Evaluation form so I understood what the items mean. Cameron took his time in explaining his answers to me. He sent some 23 pictures of my system and what he has done for verification. Cameron is so much more than a “A+”. Thank you to Cameron and Gilmore. I want him as my Gilmore Service Technician.

No peace of mind here. Major Install issues. Year one multiple vents fell from ceiling. Year two unit stopped working in summer due to bad install, electrical short. They sent out an install crew that changed the breaker, unit died 30min later waited days before they sent out a tech to fix problem. Never received a call back from management after requesting it. Low budget company would have done a better job.

Gavin, the Gilmore technician has inspected yesterday all the plumbing in our house. He was very thorough, knowledgeable and professional. He explained everything as we went through the process. He gave us a few pointers how to go about not frequently used plumbing units and how to clean a garbage disposal, among others. As a matter of fact when we have mentioned that a garbage disposal just stopped working he kindly took a look and magically unstuck the unit! We are very thankful! He provided estimates on necessary future repairs and replacements that would prolong the life of the plumbing system. We are very satisfied with the service. Thank you Gilmore team!
