From start to finish we had a great experience . We knew our air conditioning system of ten years was on its way out and Northstar made it incredibly easy and gave us a tremendous deal on our shiny new system. Starting with our initial inspection the up and quote Chris and Jesus were extremely professional and helpful in getting us all set up. Enrique and his crew came early this morning and worked in incredibly hot temperatures to get us up and running by this evening . Couldn’t be happier and we intend to use Northstar for all of our upkeep from here on out . Thanks guys ! Great job!

Company does a good job in keeping in touch with customers with a service plan. They took the time to work out a good financing plan for me. Been a customer of theirs for at least ten years.

Price: 3 out of 5 stars (about the same as other estimates), though if you’re patient, willing to walk away and negotiate, they will counter. Product quality: Variable 3 our of 5 stars. We had two installations, two years apart – the first one is still working fine, but the recent 2024 install had a bad motor (seizure) 6 months after installation on the first day we used it in the wicked heat of the summer. Techs: A solid 4 stars – they are capable, personable and want to help the customer. Kudos to David who recently helped me. Customer service: 1-2 stars given my recent experience. When we turned on our newly installed AC unit on the hottest day of the year the motor seized and we had no AC. We immediately scheduled an appointment to replace the motor the day after we were to return from vacation. Fabiola, a service tech sent a text reminder the day before and I responded “Yes” to the appointment, what time will you be here?” The next morning prior to the appointment time I get a call from NorthStar customer service saying they “cancelled my appointment because I didn’t confirm it”. Well, first of all, I DID CONFIRM IT and I have the text that shows I did. Second, what’s the point of scheduling an appointment if you can cancel it like you did without cause? Third, do you anywhere tell the customer that you will cancel the appointment they made with you (a commitment for both parties) unless you confirm it the day before? (Hint: the answer is NO). When I finally got a hold of the service team manager, he told me “Oh, I figured you did not want us to come out on the service call because you wrote a bad review. What??? What is it, I didn’t confirm it or you don’t get service if you write a bad review. I am very displeased with this part of NorthStar service and want to warn other potential customers that you may have to deal with a situation like this.

We purchased a brand new furnace and air condition unit from Northstar in July 2023. They have been out to service the unit on multiple occasions because the compressor won’t turn on. The service personnel are nice, but try to upsell us more items. The previous unit worked fine for 20 years. No additional parts should be required. Or, they should have been supplied with the original installation. Here we are again today and the AC doesn’t work. Left a message with their answering service and no call back. Do NOT buy from Northstar!

Northstar is a very responsible company that we have used for several years. Many of their employees have shown to be very professional. Some of them are Edwin, Frank and Jesus. We appreciate their skillful and honest work.
