My a/c was fine, but the air blower that circulates the air was down over the last heat wave. Rich and Brenda were of course busy (essentially, a two person operation) so I had to wait a couple of days, not unexpected. When they arrived, the problem was quickly confirmed and fixed. In 2017 another service came out and they replaced the capacitor and charged me $175 just for that part (and they replaced a few other things too). Fast forward to 2024 – Prescott A/C charged me $30 (thirty) dollars for the same part. Good people, recommended. I will definitely have them back in the fall to inspect my furnace before winter hits.

Our air conditioning stopped working and our house got up to 86 degrees inside. My husband is disabled and was struggling with the heat. Prescott Air fit us into their already slammed schedule. Leo and Brenda got on our roof in 98 degrees temp. They repaired our unit quickly and at an honest price, saving us thousands of dollars. What a great repair service and a awesome couple! We need more people and businesses like Leo and Brenda.

Update Jun 2024: 2nd 20 year old unit died. Rich and Brenda are the best pair. Friendly, honest, down to earth great people. This time the compressor was fried, time for a new unit. Fair price, excellent work including filter dryer, acid away, oil additive to protect the new compressor. Went RUUD 4-ton, super happy with it. Best attic work ever!! Maneuvered old coil out and new coil in thru tiny hatch and around trusses. It looked impossible, but Rich and Brenda did it like pros. Brenda even registered it with RUUD for us, so we don’t forget, and get the 10 year manufacturer warranty. Highly recommend. — Update Jun 2020: 1 unit died last week, was fine all last summer plus 2 weeks of this summer, so glad we got a little more life. went right to Prescott Air, this time went with brand new Rheem 5 ton 14 seer, plus coil and furnace. It’s so much quieter now. It’s a lot of labor, took about 6 hours, Prescott Air was professional, courteous and did a really good job. Attentive to details with insulation and sealing and making it all look good. Highly recommend. — Original review 2019: Great customer service. Rich assessed the issue on my two 15 year old AC condensers. We discussed options, including new units, and his recommendation was patch/dye + coolant. Before: 7 and 12. After: 20 and 22F temp diff between intake and out. Massive difference; didn’t need a thermometer, could just feel the air and tell that it was coming out much cooler. I like that they are honest and recommend just what you need and nothing more. Price was about what I expected – not cheap, but fair. Could have tried to sell me new units, but didn’t, he honestly thought there is a good chance I can get several more years out of these units with just more refrigerant at 1/10th of the cost of new units.

Good old fashion honest service! My feeling working with Rich and Brenda is that you can count on them to look out for what is best for you. They were very fast, reasonable, and even took photos of the work they did. Highly recommended! 3/21/2024: Now have hired Prescott Air for the third time over the past six years and feel more confident in my first impression of their great work ethic and sincerity to help. My 22 year old HVAC system is alive and working again. Thank you Rich & Brenda!

Leo & Brenda are the Best !!!! We were freezing when our home heating unit went out. My wife and I called Prescott Air & Heating. Leo diagnosed the problem and explained what was needed to get my heating system working again. Leo & Brenda are very honest and fare and never try to upsell their customers. My son referred them to me when he had A/C problems. I highly recommend Prescott Air & Heating to all they are The Best !!!! Sincerely, TC

Our intermittent problem was a challenge to diagnose but Rich did it quickly. Instead of simply swapping out expensive parts until the problem went away (like most HVAC guys would do), he methodically tested each part until he found the culprit…saving us a lot of money. He was also on time and communicated well.

Why would you go anywhere else? Brenda and Rich provide the most attentive, respectful, friendly service I have ever experienced. Their customer service is not only professional but personal. Unlike too many places, where “customer service” means the customer services the tradesman, they genuinely care. I had to replace a furnace during the cold snap, and they were as prompt, considerate and thorough as one could hope. Having them in the house for several hours was more like visiting with helpful old friends. Unequivocally recommended – six or seven stars should be an option!

Rich was recommended to us by another repair man who could not figure out why our furnace was malfunctioning. Turns out there were multiple factors. He took the time to get it all figured out and repaired although it took several visits and work at home in his shop. Very patient, friendly and reasonable—a good tradesman!

I researched and choose this company because of the experience and the reviews on yelp. Another company we received a quote from years ago was going to change us for things we did not need. The estimate was in the thousands and when a friend came to our rescue, he charged us $40 and a steak dinner. That fix lasted over five years. He moved out of state and we didn’t know what to do. I felt so comfortable calling Prescott Air Conditioning & heating. They had a cancellation and I didn’t know what to expect. I have to tell you, being in a wheelchair and being home all day, there were days these last few weeks that I was just suffering in the afternoon. The A/C just needed a dollar fuse. We have an old unit and they gave us several options for the future. We have A/C now and they bought us time to budget the repairs that we may need for the future. Brenda was so friendly and helpful. I am recommending them to my friends and family. They are honest people whom are trying to help people. If you need any of their services, call them, so glad we did. Thank you so much for the great customer service, you exceeded my expectations.
