I made the mistake of allowing their electrician into my apartment while I was at work so they could fix a faulty outlet under the window. Came home to broken blinds. Though I immediately submitted a maintenance request with property management, they have yet to get to it. This has left me unable to open the blinds to my only window throughout our first major heatwave of the summer. Temperatures above 90 for multiple consecutive days, some reaching over 100, and I can’t get any evening/morning airflow. The outlet works now, at least, but I wouldn’t recommend letting them in without someone home if you can avoid it.

I work in property management and have used their services on and off for the last 2 years. There has never been a direct issue with their work but I stopped using them as I was having issues with follow through from their team and having to be very hands on to ensure we received services. Recently found myself in a pickle and gave them another shot. I heard when I was last using them they were in some transition so I was hopeful maybe things had improved. I got great response on the initial inspection and the team that help coordinate that did great. They let us know follow up work was needed and it sounded like they would be back in the next few days. 5 days later we checked in and found nothing more had been done. we gave it a little longer and reach out again. Squires did even have us in the queue it seems. So we canceled the return and moved it to our usual vendor. not 15 mins later I finally got a call for follow up asking to schedule. I can see the effort is being made to improve but it’s just not where I need it at this time. Here’s to hoping they continue to refine their system for the better.

!!!!!!!!!!!!DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THEY ARE RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL, AND ARGUMENTATIVE! They threatened to leave and reschedule us! A team came out to our house 3× and failed to mention we needed to have all the cabinet removed from the wall. So we had to reschedule. We got all that done. They come back and say- now they need the other wall completely cleared. Yet the 1st team never said anything about moving that stuff. So they say we need to move it. We ask why the 1st team didn’t mention this. We had time we could of moved it, if we’d known. And he said look, I’ll just leave and you’ll be rescheduled. He said that he wouldnt do it, because it would “make his job suck” bottom line- The guy was very rude and UNPROFESSIONAL. U don’t threaten to walk away from a job. SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE AND GO WITH A DIFFERENT COMPANY

We’ve used Squires for all our electrical work over the last 13 yrs and wouldn’t consider using any other company. My most recent work was to take power outside for a new pond. Steve & Hannah came to do the job, and they were awesome. I thought I’d dug the trench well, but they indeed had to dig/maneuver around a giant tree root- it was nasty work but they literally whistled while they worked! They were enjoyable to be around, and lovely to work with. Steve used some magic heating blanket to curve the conduit to match the artistic ditch I dug, and I now have POWER outdoors. So awesome. I appreciate Steve & Hannah and couldn’t be happier!

Squires sent an electrician to get my apt. up to code and get some heat in my place. Andy has always been courteous in setting an appointment with me. Brandon (electrician) has my respect! He understood my concern and was so considerate to find the right solution in spite of all obstacles. BRAVO! He was so polite which is nice to see now a days. I recommend this company to everyone. They have trained their employees or just found well-mannered people and this is a very big part of having a successful business. Thank you, Squires Electric for staying with your company’s motto. You have warmed my home and my heart! Keep up the good work.

Words cannot truly describe the level of service I received from Erick at Squires. Like a lot of Portland without power, I had a rental that had lost power due to a PGE down line and power pole. It took the mast (sp) off the home. Erick coordinated with PGE, the tenants and myself to get power restored as quickly as possible. The degree of coordination and communication was handled like a true professional. Thank you Erick!

Whoever drives a white Chevy sedan sprky7 sucks at driving. Someone driving a company car should show some manners specially with that “EXTRAORDINARY SERVICES” sticker. Too bad a zero is not an option.

Had to call them in the middle of the night because had no power, and they came next morning and solved the no power problem. Great service. You get what you pay for.

Todd came and fixed my outlets that had somehow lost power to half my apartment. Super professional, respectful, easy to chat with and he fixed the problem fast. I recommend him to anyone!

Squires Electric was awesome today! Sergey arrived a few minutes early. He was super-friendly, knowledgeable and he fixed the issue with my circuit breaker in a timely manner. He also gave me some education and tips on a few basic electrical items. Great experience, highly recommend 100%!
