We recently had a Kohler generator installed by Gowen Power Systems, and I wanted to take the time to comment upon the superlative service we received. Our first contact was with Marie, who is one of the nicest, most courteous and knowledgeable folks we have ever worked with. Marie helped guide us through this process, and she was just a pleasure to deal with. She helped de-mystify the entire process of buying and installing the generator, and she was always available to turn to with any questions we might have had. She coordinated many of the necessary details with the Propane company and the gas-line installer. She is just superlative in what she does! Roy showed up on time for the site visit and helped us plan for the best and most appropriate model and location for the generator hook-up. He was very professional and helped us decide upon some major decisions regarding this project. The generator was dropped off on time by Pete and Corey, and they took the time to make sure the generator and pad was placed on level ground. They were informative, courteous and helpful–and they obviously care about their work because they took the time to level the area meticulously so that the generator was seated properly. Pete, Corey and other members of the Gowen crew installed the generator exactly at the time promised. They went about this with the same care and great work ethics that we had experienced from every member of the Gowen team that we had encountered. Installation went flawlessly and Pete gave us all the time we needed in order to explain the workings of our new generator. The crew cleaned up after themselves and were uniformly friendly, efficient and helpful. Pete deserves a special “shout-out” for the patience he showed in helping us understand how our new generator worked and how to operate it. This entire process went flawlessly, and we have seldom experienced the level of courtesy and sheer competence demonstrated by every Gowen employee we encountered. These folks really care about their work–which unfortunately is not all that usual in general these days. We would like to give Gowen our highest recommendation for the excellence of their customer service and the high quality of their work. This was a flawless experience from our perspective.

This is a great company, and five starts, too, to the lovely Marie, who always responds so quickly to concerns via email or over the phone. A generator is a costly item, but we have been relieved to have one and grateful for how well our generator has helped is power outages (esp winter-time outages). Everyone we have dealt with at this company is knowledgeable, prompt, and kind. Thank you, Gowen.

When my home was finished being built in 2018, my electrical contractor installed a whole home Kohler generator. Since then, Gowen Power has maintained the unit. They are knowledgeable, professional, responsive and fairly priced for the excellent service they provide. I highly recommend them and would choose them to install a replacement if ever needed.

Thank you for having your crew come by and make the required trenching change, I was not expecting that to happen so soon (a pleasant surprise). I do a lot of installation work with medical diagnostic equipment and over the years too many count I never have seen a flawless installation of any kind, tweaks are usually required so I do not expect that to change when we began. However due to Gowen’s flexibility to resolve an unexpected event when required goes a long, long way. Great service manager. Since the very first call Gowen has been attentive to my needs. You have provided me with a clear understanding of the process!! Your installers are extremely Knowledgeable about the products you sell and service and seem to enjoy their work (very friendly). Collaboration between the parties (propane providers) involved was superior. It is a comfort knowing that project in your “HANDS”, thank you all. Merry Christmas and please stay SAFE!! Gowen, assisted by Northeast Electric & LP Gas Services, replaced a whole house generator that was great for 16 years with a more capable and larger Kohler generator. The new 20 KW unit was necessary to handle the addition of Mitsubishi split systems. The installation was flawless; not a surprise since Gowen had been taking care of the older unit for years! Special mention is warranted for the administrative support headed by Marie Mowatt. She is the vital cog within this network of fine organizations.
