I have had positive experiences with this company in the past. Every person they have sent to my house has been competent and friendly. However, I had a ceiling fan that they recently installed that was making noises that it shouldn’t. I called the company and was told that it was still under their warranty and that they would send someone out to fix it. They set an appointment for me and told me to expect someone between 8 and 12 in the morning. By 12:15, no one had shown up, and I hadn’t heard anything. I called the office and they told me that they had an emergency and the schedule had been pushed back. Emergencies happen, and this is completely understandable. I asked if he knew when I could expect someone to come out, and he said he didn’t know, but that I could expect to hear from someone within an hour. By 4 PM I still hadn’t heard anything, and I had spent the entire day waiting for someone to show up. I called the office, no one picked up, and the recorded message didn’t state the name of the company, so I wasn’t sure that I had the right number. I called back 30 minutes later and left a voicemail asking them to call me. I never heard anything. The next morning, I called again, no one answered, and I left a voicemail asking if they could call me to reschedule the appointment. I have yet to hear from them. Again, emergencies happen, and I completely understand that, but not rescheduling my appointment and failing to respond to my messages is not ok.

Waited a week for an appoint and they were a no show. After not showing up after waiting all morning I called and was told the tech had an emergency which is understandable but I would have appreciated a phone call or text. We cancelled and will find someone else with better communication.

2024: We have used Solaris Electric for work on two of our homes over the course of the past few years. Every technician has been prompt and courteous, and has done excellent work. Most recently we had one ceiling fan moved, a new ceiling fan installed, and a chandelier installed. It turned out that the location of the chandelier (which was replacing the ceiling fan that was moved) had never had a box installed, so the electrician had to put a new one in. We appreciate having dependable electricians we can trust. 2022: Edward from Solaris was on time, professional, kind & courteous, and went above and beyond in repairing our outlet. I will use Solaris for any future electrical needs; the experience has been great since my very first call to them.
