My air conditioner stopped working and I called Greater Comfort as I had previously used them for an installation. They were able to send a technician out in thirty minutes. The technician was prompt and able to diagnose the problem. He was up front about the cost of service. He also showed me the broken part (capacitor) as soon as he removed it. He showed me a new one and tested the current across the old one and new one to show me it was bad. He stayed within the quoted time limits and I felt he did the repair as fast as possible so as to not charge me for a second hour. The price of service was as expected and I did not feel that I was oversold or taken advantage of. This is the third time I have used Greater Comfort from a major complete install to smaller repairs like this one. I will definitely call them first again next time I need service.

Ac went out on Fourth of July and they had first check that day. Second day Zach was able to fix it on third try hopefully extending my old heat pump a few more years. Thanks guys

I would use caution when having this business service your HVAC. I had them come out three times to help me fix an AC issue. First time was for the regularly scheduled maintenance and to address the AC issue- not fixed. Second attempt was to repair it once more with a different method than what I thought was the issue (pressure valve on the condenser outside kept tripping)- not fixed. Third visit, finally replaced the switch, system operated for 4 days, and then failed once more. After the 3rd visit, I called to speak to the owner who assured me he would check all the technician specs and get back to me. After waiting for over a week, still nobody called me back, so I got a second opinion from another HVAC company. Owner (from different company) came and checked out my unit and said before he even took any pressure readings the motor didn’t sound right and when he looked, there was oil leaking inside the condenser- needed a new furnace/AC system. I get there are inexperienced techs that need to learn the ins and outs of HVAC, and it should NOT have to be totally at the customer’s expense. Yes my unit was 25 years old, and still this is not good customer service Not to have even had a call back or a system check from a more experienced tech to address the issue after 3 visits, and no offer of any reimbursement (even $100 on a $1000 plus repair) would have gone a long way. So my two cents is….consumer BEWARE!

I cannot say enough great things about our tech, Zach, and Greater Comfort in general. Our AC was having issues and after originally dealing with another company who didn’t do anything to fix and only wanted us to pay for unnecessary services, we contacted Greater Comfort and they had someone out as soon as possible. Zach was incredibly professional the entire time, making sure we understood what he was doing and why. Our AC is working again and even more efficiently than before.

Jesse saved the day. With the extreme heat this week, getting our air conditioner fixed was critical. He was thorough and took the time to walk us through what needed to be done and set up ohr maintenance for the future. Highly recommend, great attention to detail.

Zach from Greater comfort came out yesterday and got all 3 units that we had down back up in running in a very short amount of time. I will always recommend him and Greater comfort for any Hvac issues
