“ You need to recommend this guy to everyone. He needs some lemonade or something. He is a unicorn.” -my best friend in commercial HVAC after I told her about my experience with Andrew from Modern Air. I called on a Friday afternoon at 3:13 pm when it had cooled off to 96 and my HVAC broke with a baby, a sick toddler, and a grandma in the house. My AC was fixed and running within 45 minutes. Truely better than I could have ever dreamed. Truely a unicorn!

Modern Air was awesome! From the diagnosis, to the install, everyone was very professional and efficient. Billy gave my wife and I options during the diagnosis and gave his professional opinion on what he’d do if he were us. The install was done in one day by Issac and Alfredo, and they worked well together as a team. Our furnace was in a tight attic space, so they had their work cut out for them, but got it done in a quick and timely manner. They went over the install with me, explained the new system, and made sure all questions were answered. Modern Air did a great job and will definitely recommend them to family and friends!

My AC unit failed on July 3 after a power outage in the Santa Cruz Mountains and on July 4 I was able to contact somebody from modern air and set up an appointment for 9 to 11 AM and July 5. They arrived on time and replaced the bad capacitor, pretty amazing service given the holiday.
