Stelco has become our go to electrical contractor. In the last 11 months they’ve executed numerous projects both large (installed EV charger) and small (replaced reset lighting). Billy is very responsive getting us in their schedule while Robert and AJ arrive on time, prepared, and deliver a first rate product! Fees are reasonable and in line or better than their competitors. I highly recommend the Stelco team for your electrical needs.

I had such a hard time finding someone to install my Tesla wall connector. I have looked up names of certified installers on the Tesla website however the majority of the ones on the website did not return my calls. One of the companies turned out to be a call center for different electricians and I became frustrated because they were located in Utah and were so difficult to reach by phone, email, or text message; and I got severely frustrated because I lost a lot of time with them. Another issue that I faced was that many companies were not accepting appointments when I was available which was afternoon or weekends. I decided to go ahead and pay extra for electric company that I was accustomed to using in a different city because I’m currently outside of the radius. Meanwhile, Billy returned the phone call from the voicemail that I left his company over the weekend on Monday. I basically told him never mind I’m good I’ve scheduled someone to come out later this week. He said “I hope that they are able to help you with the Duke Energy rebate”, and I told him I would circle back if anything went wrong with that appointment. Meanwhile I decided to ask him, “How soon can you get here” He said, ‘I can have someone as early as 8:00 a.m. tomorrow! And we take care of the permitting process and everything.” That was music to my ears. I went to Best buy and bought the wall connector. My electrician AJ arrived promptly at 8:00 the following morning and completed the work in a timely professional manner. We had a brief discussion when he first arrived and by the time we parted ways I was so confident that he could get the job done quickly the first time so I left him alone to do his work. Sure enough my wall connector is installed, it’s really nice, works as designed, and I am so happy! I definitely recommend Stelco Electric for your electrical needs whether they be a Tesla wall connector or anything else.

Had an estimate planned, never showed up or contacted me. Gave them the benefit of the doubt and we agreed to meet on a different day. Never showed up or contacted me yet again. Don’t use them for the Duke EV program. Plenty of other good companies (that have actually responded). If you accidentally picked this company, you can message Duke and use another company with no issues. 2 stars because the dude I spoke to was informative and helpful, aside from scheduling.

AJ and Robert came to my home and did a very professional job installing better lighting and additional power outlets in my Garage. I would definitely recommend Stelco to anyone needing electrical work in their home. Outstanding job.

Billy and the crew at Stelco are true professionals. I was referred to them by Duke Energy for an EV charger install. Robert came out to conduct the initial site survey and provided expert advice for routing of conduit and siting of the charger. A.J. came out to perform the installation and did an excellent job—I would highly recommend Stelco Electric for any electrical work!
