If the guy driving the choice electric van with license tag JCarmen is representing this company, that’s scary. He pulled out infront of me in the left lane going 40 on courtenay, why he didn’t go for the right lane being as he was on the right side I’m not sure. After I slammed on the breaks and got over he decided to flick me off and obnoxiously honk his horn for another mile at me until the left turn lanes onto 528. Just kept honking at this stop light. What a childish person to have driving a company vehicle. I have a video of this. Shame.

I called their main number and the voicemail was full and could not return messages. To their credit they called back. They came out quickly but gave out inaccurate information saying that a permit would be needed to do a repair job. Fortunately, another electrician showed up at the same time and refuted his statement. He took one look at the box from across a fence and literally said “we’re out of here” and abruptly left without any diagnosing or quoting. Based on what the job appears to require it was beyond their capabilities. I didn’t know at the time but after seeing these guys I now recall this man has a bad reputation among his peers and I can see why. Completely unprofessional with an ugly demeanor. I’m sure I got lucky and dodged a bullet with this company.

I called Choice Electric to diagnose and fix several difficult situations, Two skilled technicians showed up and proceeded to fix everything. they moved very quickly and appeared to be reading each others mind as they went in two different directions and fixed every issue. The best part was that they found and fixed a wire in the attic that had been trying to set the attic on fire. I was very impressed and have referred them to others. Just today I was able to get some electrical advice. Very nice people.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Spent 40 minutes talking to us and charged us for 3 hours of work when he was done in less than 2.5 and that includes him talking for 40 mins. Said he charged a $150 fee just to come to our location (in Merritt Island) then 3 hours of work at $75/hr and the total price came out to over $500. When I confronted him about the time it took him to install two industrial ceiling fan motors (not even the whole fan installation just the motor) he told me “the clock starts the second I leave my house”. DO NOT use this company unless you want to be completely ripped off. Their math doesn’t even add up and when asked about that ($150 service charge + 3 hrs later @ $75/hr = $375) he kept making up excuses and said “we even gave you a discount”. Complete rip off and scam artists.

Called 5 electrical contractors only Troy called back. Came out next day gave a fair estimate. Troy kept in contact over the entire project texting keeping me informed when they would be there. Troy and Jim knocked the job out in good time. The inspector came and inspected the work. His comment was Choice Electrical work is always good those guys are professionals. All you should need to know. Thanks Troy and Jim.

Same day service. Will take on little jobs. Fair price for professional work. Corrected some additional deficiencies and made house safer.
