M.W. Butler has been our electrician for over 15 years. We have recently had a 220 outlet installed for our plug in hybrid BMW. They did an awesome job! We also had a generator plug outlet installed outside of our home. This is our 2nd house that we had Butler install. It’s piece of mind having a licensed electrician install electrical. Electricians are super friendly, quality, on time, and respective of property. We also have had electric installed in a ceiling to put in a ceiling fan. Awesome work!! Highly recommend MW Butler!!

I called Butler electrical because I had a shed where the lights worked, but there was not enough power to run a corded blower or saw. A technician came to my house and spent hours taking apart everything electrical in my house and in my shed. He ended by saying he could not find anything wrong so it “must be” a problem with an under-ground wire. I told him to just leave it as I was planning to sell the house and I would let the new owner deal with it. At this point I would have paid the bill even though nothing got done. However, as soon as he left, I looked out and saw no lights on in my shed. I thought he had turned them off, but when I checked I found the lights no longer worked. I called the company to say I would not pay the bill as he did not fix anything but broke something. I had to get someone else to back tract each thing he took apart to discover that he had taken a wire loose in a junction box and not put it back. I have been billed for the last 3 months, each time with treats of a collection agency. Yesterday, I decided it would be easier to cut my losses and pay the bill. This is all I know about Butler Electric, but it is enough that I will never use them again or recommend them to anybody.

I was in the car on I-95 and one of their trucks was speeding and tailgating. When we slowed down a little he flashed his brights at us. When he finaly got past us he didint use an indicator and almost hit us while speeding past.

While driving south on I-95 on January 13 around 6:15pm just north of Richmond, one of your trucks pulling a black trailer in the rain was driving extremely fast and dangerously. The driver exhibited significant road rage and tailgated everyone in the passing lane (including me) despite the line of traffic in that lane. In addition, the driver was weaving in and out of traffic, nearly sideswiping me by pulling into my lane. After I moved to the far right lane, the driver veered in behind me and tailgated very closely. I tapped my brakes a little, which was followed by the driver turning on his full beams and following closer. I finally distanced myself and my three Scouts from him. With employees like that, I will never use your services.

They did an outstanding job upgrading and repairing my solar system. I would definitely use this company agent and give it the highest record. Thank You especially to Chase who oversaw the project.

I have had my generator serviced by this company for years. Always did a good job. It was serviced by them again at the end of May, Two weeks later we lost power and the generator never came on. I made a call to Canter to get the same company to come out. The service gentlemen said, “I got pictures proving it was not me who broke your spring door and who turned off the two breakers.” Today when I get a call from someone in the office, they don’t have pictures and she tells me she did not call me to be accused. Understand, but I am not the one who said said I had pictures to prove my innocence either.

while there electrical work was very good and their electricians very professional, The employees answering the phone and working in the home office are not. Enough so I would be hesitant to use them in the future.

One of their Chevy pickups pulled out in front of me on Pole Green without slowing down or even looking. Then proceeded to go 60-65mph down Pole Green, tailgating anyone that got in their way. Incredibly unprofessional, especially when in a labeled company vehicle.
