When the light over my kitchen sink no longer worked and I needed to have a new one installed, I remembered the great work Green’s Electric and Plumbing did installing recessed lighting in my home several years ago, so I gave them a call. This time was no different. I am totally pleased with the promptness of scheduling and the quality of the light installation. I am happy to recommend Green’s Electric and Plumbing for your home electricity needs.

I highly recommend Green’s Electric & Plumbing as they are responsive, reliable, reasonably priced and thorough with repairs. I have used them for both electrical and plumbing for my home and rental properties. Green’s fixed electrical outlet issues that were shorting out bedroom sockets and eliminated a fire hazard by fixing damaged wires that were sparking. They arrived on-time for my appointment, completed the work, and cleaned up thoroughly. I called them again when needing immediate service to replace a gas water heater at a rental property. They accommodated same day service without charging an emergency fee and although it took some time to complete the job my tenants were happy and I was happy it was fixed professionally, affordably and in the same day. I am glad to have them as a go-to for reliable service!

I highly recommend Greens Electric. They came out within a couple of hours of my contacting them ON A SATURDAY. The electrician was friendly and knowledgeable. He quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem, which could have resulted in a fire, and the price was reasonable for a same day SATURDAY service. It’s a family owned business. I always like supporting those.

We Were Off To A Rocky Start One of the plumbers incorrectly installed my faucet. The owner got wind of my dissatisfaction and frustration from a voice mail I left. I was surprised the owner called me back and made arrangements to have the faucet properly installed! Now that’s integrity and customer service! You don’t see a lot of that now days. I would highly recommend these guys and will call them for all of my plumbing needs!

Similar to a previous review, this company was assigned to me by my home warranty company (CHW) for a leak under my sink, He was quick about responding at first but he showed up, said that he needed a part and that he’d be back later that day or the next. He never came back and he didn’t reply to messages. I’ve been without water in my kitchen for 2 weeks so I requested the claim be reassigned. I’m assuming he’s just really busy but I don’t think a return call in 2 weeks is too much to ask.

This company was assigned to me through my home warranty company on 2/9/22 because of a leak under my kitchen sink. At this point, I didn’t know if it was the dishwasher, the garbage disposal, or the pipes themselves. I spoke to someone to set up an appointment on 2/11/22. They came out on 2/16/22, and at this point, I hadn’t been able to use the sink or DW for about 2 weeks. The plumber was professional and quickly assessed that my garbage disposal was the issue. I got the approval email from my home warranty company later the same day. I called on 2/17/22 and spoke to someone at Greene’s who stated that they were still waiting on the work order to come through. They would call back after 3pm EST, when they were back at their office. That was the last time I spoke with anyone there, despite 8 messages (2 of which were from the warranty company). The home warranty company actually got through yesterday (3/10/22) and spoke with someone who told them the exact same thing they told me on 2/17/22: they would call back after 3pm EST, when they were back at their office. It’s now 3/11/22, and I did not hear from Greene’s. So, from 1st call To today, it’s been almost a month. To replace a GARBAGE DISPOSAL, which I know doesn’t take long – I wish I knew how to do it. I called the home warranty company and asked to be reassigned to another company. It’s such a shame because they are a local company for me, and I would have loved to support a local business.

The “electrician” came by, sat outside for about 10 minutes for no reason, then came inside. My basement recently flooded, so the house was a bit of a mess. The “electrician” then came halfway down the steps ran outside… began retching and gagging as if he was going to throw up and left saying “get someone else.” I really don’t care how messy my house is/was/whatever, he should have conducted himself professionally. We diagnosed and fixed the problem ourselves, and I’m glad we did. Don’t use this service. Updated: The house might have been messy at that time, but the “professional” left as if there were bodies in the house. It was insulting and unprofessional. Again, do not use this service. WE HAD TO FIX IT OURSELVES because the guy was too unprofessional to handle it. Post another update and I will keep going. I hope you see the light and fire the horses-behind that came here that day.

I live in DC, I used Green’s Electric and Plumbing during the Christmas holiday 2021. It was a last minute call and I can describe them as professional, communicative and thorough. Before calling them I had been given misleading advice from PEPCO and other electricians were just unresponsive or sluggish. Darnell with Green’s, diagnosed the true problem, saved me hundreds of dollars and went above and beyond the call. After four days of going without power,,power was restored, the problem was solved, the RIGHT switch was replaced. I can’t thank Green’s enough. I wouldn’t hesitate to call them again.

Installed a ceiling fan: quick service, very nice and efficient technician, good price. I would use again.
