Summer’s came out and put a new capacitor on the AC unit, and said the compressor was seized up, Alternative came out and put a new capacitor on a the unit is working great! So happy with their service!!!!!

As a new homeowner, the responsibility and maintainance of our heating and cooling units is an overwhelming process because it’s a necessity in our daily lives but an expensive endeavor, so when our central AC wasn’t working, we reached out to another company for diagnosis and repair. We were told we needed to buy a whole new system which stressed our wallets and our wellbeing. We reached out to this company by another customer’s recommendation and they were able to fix our AC unit without any difficulty and provided us with clarification as to what wrong by showing us our system and walking us through the problem. We spent $225 dollars to fix a simple part where the other company tried to tell us it would be cheaper to get a new system than replacing a part that wasn’t even broken. This company was professional, relatable, knowledgeable and have earned a new and appreciative customer in our household!

My experience with this business is just beginning but I must tell you why I’m giving them a five-star review! They could have charged me close to a thousand dollars for a repair and I would have been happy to pay it to fix my issue. Instead, they referred me to another local business who could repair my issue at a much lower cost to me. They took a hit to the pocketbook because of their work ethic. I will use them for everything I can from now on and shout from the rooftops when I am asked for a reputable business in this field. Thank you so much for your honesty today, I can’t even tell you how much you’ve blessed me.

Fast forward 2 years, and our furnace began having issues again. I called Alternative at 7:30 when they opened, and the technician was at our house at 9:00. Thankfully, it was an easy and inexpensive fix! We are so grateful for the service provided by Alternative!! We had been having issues with our furnace for almost a month. Another HVAC company came out and looked at our furnace, serviced it, and said there was nothing wrong. The problem continued so we gave Alternative a call instead. The fix was very simple and something the previous technician should have taken care of. Their loss!! Not only did they fix the furnace issue, they went above and beyond to to help me out with my dog :)!! We’ll certainly be using them in the future for all of our HVAC needs!!

Very prompt, knowledgeable, reasonable and honest. I was expecting the worse when my furnace was failing to operate long enough to heat my home. I really didnt know who to call. But I’m so glad I chose Alternative. They were very straightforward and they didn’t try to sell me any parts or services that I didnt need. Turns out I just needed a little maintenance to get my furnace back to operating as it should be. I’m very happy with the service. I will be using them for all my heating and cooling needs from this day forward. Thank you Alternative!
