Wanted $299 to come out and do an estimate on a panel replacement, when I called. Didn’t ask for pictures or even provide a rough range. My panel still works, why would I pay $300 for a simple estimate? That’s a HUGE charge for them to do an estimate.

I had an issue at one of our stores and was told they would be out between 3-9 that day. They charged my amx prior to the tech arriving on site and the tech never showed. Tech called following day and could “not fit me in his schedule”. Not sure how a business can take money for a service call they do not do.

I’m blown away by this business! The lead technician and his team are excellent experts who take pride in their job and go above and beyond to ensure that their customers are satisfied. They installed 24 pot lights, outlets, switches and dimmers, as well as a smoke detector, throughout our basement. We, as well as the inspector, were quite impressed with his job. There was no pressure or overselling, only sensible, expert advice. I would give Bolts Electrical Contractors an unequivocal recommendation!!

Michael did a thorough inspection of the electrical system of my 1904 built house which helped me understand how he would upgrade the knob and tube wiring. And the quote he gave was very competitive! I’ve used Bolts Electrical Contractors previously for an A/C install and a hot tub install and they have done quality work each time.

Am glad Michael was the technician who came to our house today to check on several electrical issues. He quickly located problems, diagnosed and completed repairs needed, made good recommendations, explained our electrical system and presented problems. I learned a lot about electricity today from him. He is knowledgeable and efficient and has a good sense of humor and he listens! I will request him when I need help with electrical service again.
