Jay Mechanical has been my #1 choice for all HVAC & plumbing issues for several years. Jean, Monica and Team consistently provide excellent customer service: prompt, professional, empathetic and helpful. The crew is punctual and accurate. The Jay Mechanical Team has earned my trust! Recently, in January, Jay Mechanical was able to expedite a furnace replacement for one of my rental units after a disfunctional furnace left my tenants without heat in the midst of winter.

My wife and I needed to replace our HVAC unit with a ducted heat pump and new furnace. The team at Jay Mechanical were wonderful, from the scheduler to the demolition and installation teams. Everyone that came to the house was professional, courteous, and took great care to leave the basement cleaner that they found it. Highly recommend their services and workmanship.

I didn’t even have a chance to see if they’re actually good at what they do because the initial phone conversation was so awful that I was compelled to write a bad review, which I rarely do. The person who answered was acting like I had five heads for calling and asking for someone to come out and take a look at my leaking ac as I am not a plumber and have no idea what’s wrong with it. As a business owner myself, when someone is calling it’s generally because they need assistance and don’t have all the answers. That’s your job-to have the answers. It sounds like they don’t want the business, so don’t bother calling.

I used these guys for an inspection in the fall to check and clean my furnace. I was happy with there service until I called them in February…my furnace was not working correctly. It would come on sporadically. So when I called Jay Mechanical I was told that as long as it’s running there’s nothing they could do. Well after 4 nights of no heat in February, that was not a good answer. So I started calling other people who would take care of me. I was very happy to find another local company who was more than happy to come and replace two parts that the furnace needed. So Jay Mechanical will not be my first call, but I won’t say I would never call them again.

I just want to say how professional and great this company has been. Niquette Brothers retired and we were no longer able to contact the company that installed our A/C when our A/C started leaking water. I called around and one place had a poor answering service and another company booked me out a month and a half to look a problem that was happening NOW, with WATER, with the A/C unit. I won’t be running A/C in October! When I called Jay Mechanical, the receptionist was extremely helpful, seemed to understand that this was an issue that was relevant now. She had Paul come and take a look at our furnace system to try to diagnose the issue. He was extremely polite, arrived on time, gave us good advice on how to properly use our system (we were using the wrong filters for our system) and figured out that the issue was a combination of a few things that culminated with our pump leaking the water. Problem solved! Also, he explained why our house had trouble regulating the temperature, what with our poor ducting! I guess old ducting isn’t made for modern conveniences like A/C. So that is also something my husband and I will be evaluating for a future upgrade. Oh, and I am a woman, and I just want to add that I never felt like I was spoken down to. I know that this can be an issue in some places, so I really wanted to emphasize how great and courteous everyone has been.
