Called because my unit was down and couldn’t figure out the issue. They sent someone out within 30 minutes of my call which was a blessing for us. Jeff, our service pro was kind and extremely knowledgeable about the issue and was able to resolve it quickly and effectively. Dave Abel and his team at Abel Air & Heat are top notch! Very honest and efficient. I want to personally thank him, Debbie and Rick Durand (the tech who came to our home) for everything they did for us. Another HVAC company bought out our old company and came to do a maintenance check. Everything was fine for a couple of weeks until our system froze up. The current company came back out and said it was the blower motor which we had replaced for $950. Then a few weeks later it froze up again! This time they said it would cost $3500 to repair (new compressor and something else). We decided we didn’t want to throw more money into the 5 year old system. But we did get three estimates for a new system. Fortunately, when Rick from Abel came out, he determined we did not need a new system but only a sensor for $196. We wrote Dave Abel a letter letting him know he would always be our go to for HVAC in the Englewood area from now on. We almost got scammed by another business so we were extremely happy to find honest tradesmen!!! Don’t hesitate to give your business to Dave Abel and his company. They are the BEST!!!
