I’m glad I gave Dan Riel a chance. When I saw he only had one Yelp review, I was going to pass him by. But I took the time to look at his write-up in the “About the Business” section and I’m glad I did. Something caught my eye. After getting a couple of other quotes, I chose Dan. I found him professional, personable and honest. I asked him to install a 50 amp circuit for an EV charger. He worked with me on placement and scoped out the details of the circuit breaker, parts, etc. His work was meticulous and I could see he took pride in doing it right. It reminded me of Steve Jobs, who insisted the inside of a product must be as good as the outside, even if no one would ever see it. That’s the way Dan did the install. I asked him why he had only one review and he said he stopped asking people because Yelp’s algorithm would either not post them or delete them after a short period of time. That says a lot about Dan – he was keyed to the impact to his customers rather than the benefit he might accrue. Well, I hope you all get to see this – Dan is one of the good ones and I highly recommend him.

When we moved into our new home, Dan helped us to set up a whole new system of circuits which make our life very easy afterwards. Since it’s an old house, some challenges came along the road, but Dan was very resourceful and patient to find all the solutions. We are grateful and would like to highly recommend him for any electrical service that you may need. He is the Best!

We have had Dan as our Electrician since almost three years and will continue to use his services, hopefully for years to come. He installed recessed lighting, upgraded sub and main panels, brought power to areas where there was previous none, installed smart switches, EV plug, etc. Dan is very thorough, quality and detail oriented. I’ve worked in my professional environment with many electricians and Dan is definitely amongst the best. He is polite, friendly, cordial and foremost meticulous in all he does. He is an excellent communicator, evident from his messages as to his approximate time of arrival. He is reasonably priced and I have recommended Dan to three friends who have all been very happy with his performance and hence will continue to recommend him. Dan was referred to us by a neighbor who I am grateful to. We can highly recommend Dan for he has the gift of being quality oriented with a very pleasant character. San Diego, CA, USA
